I understand what they said but we have pep and you would have thought they would be really interested to discuss how he has got us playing like we are, they adored him from afar but now they have chance to look at his methods close up they are not interested and he said our success is boring,i just don't get that
They have been begging for us to have a blip so they can write about it,they confirmed that as well
Him coming to us cost the media billions in extra clicks then?

The interesting thing for me is that the Sunday Supplement effectively denigrated their own profession. Samuel went on to say that he had a good story about Sunderland but that it did not have the priority of a PSG match. Where has journalistic integrity gone it is clear that all the media want our clicks and they only care how they get them. It is clear that there is a bias towards certain clubs and the media have acknowledged that and they have also acknowledged the reasons why. Therefore no-one should ever challenge the fact that there is a bias we just have to accept it for now but there may come a time in the future when the roles are reversed

I agree with you the media have openly admitted there is a bias, the reason for it is immaterial, the bias is definitely there as most of us already new.

Don't buy it, don't read it, don't watch it. Switch off the "expert analysis". FFS, if you need Owen, Merson, Nicholas etc to tell you what's going on you're a lost cause anyway. Don't switch the matches on until 1 min before kickoff. Who wants to watch Brighton warm up while someone talks about Stoke? Don't click on their recycled, repetitive shite on Twitter. Don't phone 5 live. Don't get to it by clicking a link. Don't spend your time and money on them. Choose life.

There are 3 shows that used to be unmissable, but now are unwatchable. Soccer AM, Soccer Saturday and Sunday Supplement.

A few years ago Alan Green was on 606 moaning that City fans never phoned in, that we obviously weren't interested in talking about our club as "we make the show, not him". A fan phoned in to tell him we never called because all he did was slag us off. He started discussing it but then turned to slag us off. The fan simply said "See, you can't help yourself".

So don't feed them. Seriously, there's loads of options out there - unless you get some sort of perverse pleasure out of listening to and reading their shite....

That is not the point,we should be able to watch and listen to shows and expect fair and balanced discussion about us,Samuels said this morning it is all about clicks and revenue and we are not talked/written about unless we fuck up and we are currently the boring story, thats the first time i have heard 4 journo's admit to it

In a nutshell, stories about United generate more traffic (and thus revenue) than stories about City, hence why they get more exposure and positive coverage than us.

Hardly ground breaking revelations, admittedly, but confirmation of what we have long suspected from the horse's mouth, so to speak.
So how does the BBC fit in all this considering they have a mandate to be impartial and receive their fees through enforced public subscription.

I fucking hate all this "City are the new invincibles" shit the media are currently doing. Not a single person at the club has suggested we can go the whole season unbeaten yet they keep piling it on.
