Whilst the football sector of Business seems to be able to allow illegal cartels in the form of barrier to entry it still conforms to normal business practice regarding shareholding.
Ultimately we are owned by Sheikh M. with slight dilution regards to the Chinese, so by the same reasoning Man U are owned by the mortgage Company who provided the purchase money for the Gla.. shareholding.

The fact that we make profits is not unusual within football but what is unusual is that these profits and not oil money is ploughed back into football by the owners.

From the other ridiculous article, this one by Samuel Lockhurst.

'Jose Mourinho could only stand and applaud. The game was goalless and not 20 minutes old but the presence of Paul Pogba is a reassuring sight for Manchester United and their manager marvelled at Pogba's effervescence as he deceived one of Basel's defenders right in front of him. Come Pogba's withdrawal in the 65th minute, some Basel supporters also put their hands together for the £89million midfielder.

I mean WTF? People believe this shit?
Said before, how any self respecting news outlet utilises Luckhurst is beyond belief. Even sensible Rags think he’s a dick. He’s a fanboy who got the gig via his social media postings he has absolutely no understanding of impartiality, it’d be like me commentating on the Derby on MOTD

There is a very interesting article about Sinan Bytyqi, a kosovan player of ours who has had to retire due to a heart problem at the age of 22. It's good to read how the club have supported him all the way and found a job for him in the club. I would copy and paste it but don't know how to! It's on the mail website.

That is the issue, it's not oil money or state sponsored or Arab ownership that pisses of the football establishment (though there is a great deal of genuine Arab hostility) it is the fact we take our profit and plough almost all of it back in to the club and this is viewed as giving us an "unfair" advantage.

Owners like the Glazers take their profits to service their debt, others take their profit to trouser it, after all that's why they're in business, and the football business should be no different, except it is different at one club, Manchester City.

Theres an interesting article in the Mail of all places about Les Chapman and the time he had as kit man. The Tevez golfing holiday was Mancini’s fault and Peter Schmeichel was a bit of a demanding knob during his time with us.

I think its time Chappy let go of keeping up his bitterness to Mancini. Whenever he's interviewed he has to shoehorn his name into it. As he's done in that interview. Fuckin move on.
