Phil neville was going on about marking David silva, I’m getting a feeling from sky that they are telling opposition to go out and hurt him, ive heard bits about this all week, I’m expecting some seriously bad tackles going in in David in the next few weeks, anther snippet from sky was wengers presser saying we have petrol as well as resources, my god they are trying their best, the spite coming out of peoples mouths is unbelievable, but now they are doing it in a softer tone, not like mr venomous at Trafford

In the interview you are refering to Phil Chuckle referenced an Everton v City match, he quoted that x (an Everton player can't remember who) was told to man mark Silva but then he was booked after ten minutes. Neville then said he was then instructed to man mark Silva, cue $ky showing a clip or Neville fouling him and Silva lying on the floor in agony. low and behold Neville got booked for the foul. Add to that Danny Murphy saying a couple of days ago that Swansea should have been more physical on our players and he was disgusted that no Swansea put in 'a tackle' that resulted in a player being booked indicates that you may be right.
The message is, to stop them, kick them.

Some daft twats will empoly him.

Utd did.
And Utd already regretting it. He brings opprobrium on them with his antics and boredom with his big red bus. I like the rag who posted on the caf:
"We will NEVER win anything playing like this..........Maurinho OUT"
Tee hee.

And whilst I am in this thread why do Sky never have a big story on our successful football brand! All other news outlets are talking about the style and impact of the football we are playing but Sky dont have anything and seem to be stuck in the old world of reporting on everything Utd.

Also Paul Merson is a knob
"I do think we are getting a bit carried away with City. It's great what they are doing but great teams win things and they haven't won anything yet. They will win the league, but we have short memories of how great Manchester United were and also the Arsenal 'Invincibles' team."

Fucker, we are making the sort of history that Utd and Arsenal could never make, the fact we have alreayd won the prem gets forgotten. I fkin hate Sky.
Yes. Our two league titles, two League Cups and FA Cup win in the last six years seem to have been airbrushed out of history already. When Arsenal were pushing for the Invincibles tag they were egged on. Now it seems as if a lot of pundits can't wait for us to lose.

That twat Rojo went steaming into Silva, obviously to try and put him out of the game, delighted to see his head full of claret.
We need a citing officer like in Rugby, who independantly looks at situations either witnessed or reported. # GuardSilva

As the Guardian article argues, the development of the CFG has begun to change the face of football and it will do so for many years. What the consequences will be is impossible to say but it strikes me that there has already been a consequence of major importance already.

Even last season many on here bemoaned our lack of a "winning mentality ". Yet this season we have heard condemnation from Wenger about oil money, City's spending in the window, bad refereeing for the last two visits to the Etihad and so on. And Mourinho has joined in with a vengeance. He has complained about trying to compete with the resources of a state, the build up to the derby was nothing but the ref and City's supposed cheating and the talk after the match was how City were underhand enough to rely on two "disgraceful" goals and United were still only prevented from winning by a ridiculous decision ("a clear penalty NOT given") which would have given United (!) 20 minutes to win the match.

Bothe Wenger and Mourinho are displaying something quite different to a "winning mentality". Wenger is excusing defeat while Mourinho was, at first, preparing the way for it and then excusing it. This is, in fact, a "losing mentality" because they are in effect arguing that defeat is due to factors well beyond their control. Until something is done about City, money and referees, there is little point in taking City on a pitch at football. Just as United and Liverpool believe there is little point in taking on our youth teams. How are the mighty fallen! The biggest, richest club in the world giving up. And as the article says, Real and Barca are seriously worried ... And the CFG is only just getting going!

Come on CFG!!!

Oh look, a real Irish plastic Rag.

The enough from the f***ing idiot.

Eamon Dunphy believes Pep Guardiola’s all-conquering Manchester City side would have been ‘eaten alive’ by Manchester United’s Treble winning team, as he dismissed suggestions they are the best team of the Premier League era.

City have won a record-breaking 15 league games in success and head into Saturday’s Premier League game against Tottenham with a massive 11-point lead at the top of the table, but Dunphy does not believe they have earned the right to be hailed as the greatest Premier League side of them all.

“It’s way off the beam to say City are the best Premier League team of all-time,” declared Dunphy, speaking to RTE 2FM’s Game One. “They are a long, long way away from being the best team we have seen in the Premier League.

“The best United teams would have eaten this City team alive. They are not close at the moment, just look at the goals they have conceded.

Remind me why you support Utd Eamon ? Local team eh ? Nothing to do with glory by association then .
You'd get a more even view by a red propping up a bar in Ordsall than this bitter , jealous tosser.
