Had to laugh at talksport this morning:
Iron fan says Arnautovic thinks hes Eric Cantona and plays like Eric Morecombe (I LOL anyway)

Somebody should tell her Steve Heighway started at City. She might explode.

Heighway was playing in City's junior sides to great effect when Joe and Malcolm wanted him to sign full time but he wanted to go to university first so he left and ended up at Liverpool. That was one who got away.
And went to Moseley Grammar School in Cheadle Hulme - head boy to-boot.

An interesting article copied of the OS from The Independent. Hope it does not break any copyright rules, if so please delete.
Writes Liew: “While you often need everything to go perfectly to score a goal, the principles of the game are built on the fact that you do not necessarily need to play perfectly to stop one.

“Until Manchester City came along, that is.

“You get the ball. Instantly, you see Kevin de Bruyne and Leroy Sane hunting you down.

“A few yards away, Sergio Aguero is blocking the easy pass to your right. Raheem Sterling is blocking the pass up the touchline. Can you maybe bend the ball around David Silva?

“You have fractions of a second to answer. Too late. Sane has wrapped one of his telescopic legs around yours, De Bruyne has gathered up the loose ball, and once more you are defending for your lives.

“Multiply this scenario by 10, by 100, by hundreds, and you get some idea of what playing City these days entails: a never-ending series of multiple-choice problems, each with only one perfect solution.”

We are a joy to watch at the moment.

That Rudd is on one because Pep is making her look a fool this season.

I saw her a few times on Sunday Supplement last season and she was revelling in us not blowing the league away as we are doing this season. She has said, on more than one occasion, that she doesn't "get" Pep, that he talks nonsense and was trying to take the mick last season when Pep, in truth, was just trying to protect the players in the exact opposite way PEG throws them under the bus. She was essentially buzzing last season because she called out Pep early and when we didn't win a trophy you could almost hear her smug "I told you so" coming out from behind that horrid face and hair of hers.

Any hack worth their salt (like Martin Samuel for instance) saw last season what we were trying to achieve and that we'd be much stronger this season, but Rudd had made her position pretty clear all-season.

So now this season she can't say how good we have been because she's backed herself in to a corner where Pep isn't good enough for the Premier League, she made that opinion very clear.

So sit back and watch her squirm. She has no option but to discredit us, otherwise she makes herself look like a bitter know-f*ck-all who got giddy when Pep didn't win every game in his first season.

She predicted us to be a disaster this season and finish outside the top 4. She now looks like a mug and is doing her delusional best to hold on to 'What ifs', reckons Liverpool would have beat us if Mane wasn't sent off.

Or, how Sky are reporting it

I wonder how they can have come to some of these conclusions as City do not play very often & when they do there is no one from the media there anyway!

Everton and West Ham legend Tony Cottee believes this Manchester City team could potentially be the best side in Premier League history if they can maintain their electric form.

Speaking on Sky Sports, the former England international said: “I watched the game against Arsenal and what I loved about it was the confidence, the arrogance that comes with being a top team of being able to play out of any situation.

“You’ve got a goalkeeper passing it six yards, making an angle to be able to get the ball back from a defender and they play out from all angles.

“I think they’ve shut up shop defensively and we know what they’ve got going forward.”

Cottee then made the bold claim that City could surpass any of Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United sides and even Arsenal’s Invincibles.

“This potentially could be the best Premier League team we’ve ever seen. You’ve got the ‘Invincibles’, and many Manchester United teams. Potentially, this could be the best.”

It’s still far too early to make that call for sure, hence Cottee repeatedly using the word ‘potentially’, but City have had the best start of any team in Premier League history while bossing a tricky Champions League group, and if this form continues, the sky is the limit…

We certainly have some individually valuable players but our current success is down to moulding the players into a very successful group of players who blend as a team and unselfishly work for each other.

The old saying is that a successful business performs better as a group than the sum of its individual members.

I wonder what the City Team as a group is worth.

Another shithouse who the club should ban/stop giving freebies away to on matchdays.

We could have a draw in the pitch for his posh seat & grub then offer him the newly vacant seat. He fucking 'get' us then.

I bet he'd pay for a parking ticket to watch strangers having sex in a car park though.

I don't get him as a person, he's a deluded wannabee twat, who hits women and uses race, mental health and god knows what else to try and justify he gutter morals.
