Manchester City are starting to feel the love despite their money

While hidden in an article saying we're great to watch, I think this article pretty much confirms what many had said over the last few years - Ronay really disliked us and hoped we'd fail up to the point where he suddenly found our football entertaining this season.

I couldn't get past the clumsy grammar and poor punctuation of the first paragraph.

Sky have just done a comparison of Hudders(£50m) v City (£650m) , cost of the squad etc etc , they didnt even do that after they hammered the Rags (£400m worth of players on the pitch) surely likkle impoverished Yorkshire no hopers beating the self proclaimed biggest club in the world was worthy of a cost comparison after they stuffed them ? , Glad i dont give a bean to Murdochs empire, click baiting tw*ts.

Is this a positive article? As per advice on here. Need to understand if I am fuelling the click bait negative v positive
I actually like Barney's articles, he's been trying to be funny and many times he is. This is from Dippers - Rags game earlier in the season:

...Highlight No2. On a noisy, oddly balmy afternoon at Anfield, Romelu Lukaku played a role similar to that of Matt Damon in the film The Martian, a man entirely isolated in the harshest of environments, cut adrift on an alien red planet and reduced to foraging desperately.
Lukaku bullocked gamely from wing to wing throughout this stodgy, directionless 0-0 draw. With 40 minutes gone he found himself unexpected proximity to another grey United shirt. Readjusting with commendable speed to the shock of human company, the striker played a neat one-two with Anthony Martial and shot powerfully but a bit too close to the Liverpool keeper, Simon Mignolet.
Next up, the filler. Or in other words the rest of it, on an afternoon when a collection of talented, pacy, powerful United players spent most of the game crouched behind their guard in a 4-5‑green space-1 formation, eking out a neurotically cautious point against a Liverpool team that had not kept a clean sheet since August.

I find it amusing that we still see these price comparison team line ups. Everyone’s knows how much we’ve spent, it’s nothing new to anybody. A few years ago, people would have been interested with this sort of information, but I’m pretty sure no one gives a fuck now.

Have you read the comments? Fuck me, we live in a very bitter hatefilled world.

The worst fucker is him ranting and raving about slavery, the soft twat.
Someone should ask him if he knows how many jobs over his decade has Sheikh Mansour been involved in around East Manchester, plus housing plus education.

Petro dollars is the only thing they can come up with. Googled it and there are an estimated 6000 products manufactured from oil. When these gobby fuckers stop using every single item on the list then they can talk.

If you want to keep your good soul at peace, never, ever, read comments on any news story on any website on the internet. Don't even make the mistake of thinking a story is such good news that all the comments will be positive. They won't be.

I know, but there is one poster who basically replies to every post that our owners are human rights Nazis! If I was the Boss I would properly look into that (for slander)

Next time you see him, ask this question:
Who do you think has the worst human rights record in recent times in the Middle East: Abu Dhabi or The U.S. and our good selves whose murderous and illegal invasion of Iraq led to the death of thousands and the hegemony of Daesh, causing death and misery to millions ?

Pretty much this.

Not wishing to play Devil’s Advocate, but the US and British Governments don’t own a football club.....albeit that I would concur that both are as responsible as anyone for the horrific new world order

Nor does Abu Dhabi, CFG own us. If you saw the leaked emails, it is a source of great frusration to CFG (Khaldoon in particular) that it is commonly believed that the sovereign wealth fund own us and give us money.
Edit. Ultimately, who cares, cos the records will show that we won the title in 17/18 with a record number of points and goals.

An understandable distinction perhaps given that CFG is owned/controlled by Sheikh Mansour, and that one of the undeniable aims of our owners is to promote the UAE. Of course that in turn affords our enemies the opportunity to deliberately ‘misunderstand’ the exact nature of our ownership, and to drone endlessly on about oil money and so forth. Like you, two fucks will not be given at Chateau Exeter when we win the league again this season!

Re: the Graun article comments, rampant british bigotry masked as old money is organic and good and new money is Arab oil bad money for football, that's all the cünts have got to feed their salty hydroponic bitterness. Fuck them and their agenda.
