They didn't though did they. Yes they highlighted it, but they all agreed it was nothing like Phillips challenge and more just a poorly timed tackle.MOTD making out David Silva tackle as bad as Phillips on Diaz, and caused him to injure himself! Silva injury caused by clashing hips, as shown on Sky sports this morning. Lying tw@ts trying to get Silva (& possibly Fernandinho for a starmp) banned!
Yes they highlighted this when in fact he hardly touched the WB player, yet they studiously avoid criticising the inept officials. From the BBC match report:

One possible blemish on the evening for the hosts is the prospect of retrospective action being taken against Fernandinho after the Brazilian escaped any punishment for planting his foot onto the thigh of the prone Grzegorz Krychowiak in the first half.
Let's just say he got away with a 'Dele'.What did Fernandinho even do?

Sure he did, weighted somewhere between a step and a planted leg. Definate yellow though. No argument from meNo he didn't, he trod on him, there was no stamp.
Is it fuck.Just seen it. It’s a clear red card and if we’re going to criticise other players for their challenges then we should do the same with Fernandinho. It’s wreckless and stupid.

Fucking unreal, mate. Nowhere near a stamp.Bollocks all day long, even the commentator sugested he had no where to put his leg, he didnt stamp on him. Blues are weird, we start off complaining about a waist high, studs up challange and end up wanting one of our own retrospectively banned. YCNMIU.

The Silva tackle on Yacob was my favourite moment of the match and the hacking **** wound his neck right in after it, typical coward.MOTD making out David Silva tackle as bad as Phillips on Diaz, and caused him to injure himself! Never said he should be banned, that's going too far. But absolutely a yellow card offence.Bollocks all day long, even the commentator sugested he had no where to put his leg, he didnt stamp on him. You got a gif?
I'd like to see it again because to me it just looked like he unintetentionally trod on him. He showed no remorse mind but then there's no reaction from any Baggie player either which suggests thry believed it was accidental too.
