I personally don't blame the refs. They can't be expected to see everything. As I said in another thread, I firmly believe they guess at a lot of their decisions, or they use a built in prejudice, based on newspaper articles and other media bullshit. Any match going fan can see that ref's give decisions on how much reaction a player gives to a tackle - all the rolling around etc.
Some of the recent ones v us:
1. Sane - at full speed was difficult to see, even the commentators missed it, as did I. The replay showed a fucking shocker though.
2. Diaz - the ref's view was blocked by Barry (so God knows why he even gave a Yellow - well, he gave it for Diaz (honestly) rolling around, and our player's reactions). On replay though you could see it was a shocker.
3. Kane and Alli - shockers both, and again even worse on replay.
4. McLean - the I rent was there, and even if he didn't catch the player, it needs looking at.
The big issue here is the ridiculous rule that if the ref has 'seen' it, it can't be reviewed. It's high time the fucking FA realised that these things need to be reviewed. Someone needs to take retrospective action on potential career ending tackles - but I won't hold my breath.
