Don’t cross swords with swans. Got attacked by one In Bramhall Park when I was a child, then a presumably different beast started dive -bombing our narrow boat in Wales, under the misapprehension we were attempting to ram it’s offspring.A whole heap of bitterness from someone called Alan Swann, chief sports writer no less, of the Peterborough Telegraph.

I have told you the facts of the situation, you can take or leave it,pep is the only one who knows and the failed manager who is still a rag is getting the boot into pep,let that sink in,none of the sunday cesspit agreed and they love bashing us,it's a desperate attempt at having the only pop available because of what we are doing to nevilles beloved club, file under who gives a shit neville.most journo's have been busy this week highlighting the dangerous fouls we are getting against us,it's only rags and no mark ex players and failed managers having a pop insteadDisagree Karen , and If you dont buy into the media crap , then its rather odd that you would contribute to the thread , like it or not the media does have a massive influence on how our club is perceived and i dont believe posters are daft for commenting on the mostly idiots who pass for journos and pundits and who for some , have an obvious agenda with our football club.
Pep was making a point about the many disgraceful tackles we have suffered by naming six subs , and i dont think we would have had to beam a player barely 30 minutes away , but Pep chose not to , for once this season and with hindsight he got this wrong , the PGMOL & F.A. will not take any notice of Pep's protest , but the media are having a field day .

I pointed out to TLWYS a page or so back that Moyes did it against Huddersfield in a league game a couple of weeks back. Can't find one critical article online, just Hammers either speculating based on it or moaning about it.
I saw later.
It's Neville puffing himself up again, and generally acting the jerk.
Sorry I haven't read the article and don't want to give him the clicks. What exactly is he saying has 'nothing to do with him'?Ironic how Alan Swann complains about Guardiola getting involved in "matters that are nothing to do with him". Why is a Peterborough Telegraph reporter casting judgement on Pep Guardiola? Shouldn't he stick to talking about Peterborough United?
Nathan Redmond.Sorry I haven't read the article and don't want to give him the clicks. What exactly is he saying has 'nothing to do with him'?

Ah, ok. Thanks. I assumed it was something to do with six on the bench.Nathan Redmond.
Pep might be good, but he's no Barry Fry.A whole heap of bitterness from someone called Alan Swann, chief sports writer no less, of the Peterborough Telegraph.

It would be interesting to know just how many sports writers they have.Do I assume that as 'chief' sports writer The Peterborough Telegraph is awash with sports writers, or is it a title that makes this third rate hack feel more important?
2, him and his boss, the sports editor. It would be interesting to know just how many sports writers they have.
Well the rags are convinced theres never been a bigger love in for a manager in the press than there is for Saint Pep. Their words. On the downside, Durham gets the ‘I’m contrary maverick’ role and is just following the script.
On the upside though, it makes a nice change to hear something good about us on a mainstream medium.
Come on missus tell us exactly what you mean and don`t sit on the fence. ;)I have told you the facts of the situation, you can take or leave it,pep is the only one who knows and the failed manager who is still a rag is getting the boot into pep,let that sink in,none of the sunday cesspit agreed and they love bashing us,it's a desperate attempt at having the only pop available because of what we are doing to nevilles beloved club, file under who gives a shit neville.most journo's have been busy this week highlighting the dangerous fouls we are getting against us,it's only rags and no mark ex players and failed managers having a pop instead

I don't see what the fuss is about. You can only play 3 subs so what difference does it make if you have 6 or 7 on the bench? its only a couple of seasons ago when you could only have 5 on the bench and I don't remember it causing any problems. If a pundit/journo wants to show themselves up as a bit of moaning tit let them.
