I found it strange that the commentator didn't announce "Lukaku the man united player " today.
Mind you, Lukaku the dog and duck centre forward would have been an insult to the dog and duck.
 
It's 4-2 to France now, Croatia have just scored a 2nd, and this is still the BBC Football picture.

Pogba scored the 3rd French goal.

He actually had a good showing in the gobbing world championship, top in distance, but lost points in the accuracy section. Welcome back to punditry.

Just heard a compilation of goal commentary advertising the new season on 5Live. Only heard it the once and I may be wrong, but amongst others, there's two rag goals but nothing from the Champions.
 
Sky's advert for the new PL season features clips from two City matches last season. No prizes for guessing which ones.
 
5live sport advertising new season. No mention of City, but the goalscorers from
the other big 6 from last season.....no agenda yeah right
 
It’s very odd if we aren’t mentioned on promotional adverts for the new season, grown men getting their knickers in a twist over it is just as odd. Let them ignore us for all I care, we just need to do it on the pitch

I think the clue is the use of the phrase promotional adverts.
 
Has anyone seen anything remotely like the press coverage last season that City got for spending, for Liverpool?

I mean they spent £250 million this year already and all I see is the media getting excited at the spend.

Anyone see's anything let us know, wuold be good to see but I suspect that treatment only happens if it is City
