I don't know what is more nauseating with Tyler commentating - his love-in of all things Henderson or his man crush on Fernandes. Surely it's about time that new blood was brought through by Sky. I would promote Don Goodman to cover PL games and get rid of Tyler.
It's the co-commentators who need changing. Who gives a shit about listening to the following: McPointy, Hoddle, Hinchcliffe, Beglin, Murphy (these 5 off the top of my head). Carragher (bad enough as a studio pundit) could never be a co-commentator because I, for one can't understand him, it always sounds like he is clearing his throat. There are at least a couple more who are just not worth listening to, either utterly boring, talk shite or just state the bleedin' obvious, and most are biased and it shows through.
There must be a few ex-footballers or even managers out there who would add some interest to the commentary, cut the bias, talk sense and generally make comments more relevant to the actual match they are covering. They could also temper the bullshit that the likes of Tyler, Darke etc inanely spout, and who simply feel the need to fill any pause with their own voice talking for talking's sake. As a comparison, just listen to any Arabic commentary, those guys don't come up for air, press that mute button ffs.
This all leads to the question, who and where the fuck are they?.

The Daily United now.

3 different Ben Davis articles to Liverpool, pretty much next to each other.

5 United articles.

6 Liverpool articles. Not including the Ben Davis articles.

0 City articles.
Clearly, Pep does not like his media commitments. Post match & pre-match he gets asked silly questions or asked to comment on other managers and even some impertinent personal questions. His one-word answers or refusal to answer at all display his contempt. Therefore, I wonder if this is the reason the press do not show Pep or City the respect we deserve for our achievements.
A BM poster said earlier, "Pep can be a miserable old get"", yes he can, but he's our M.O.G.

I don't think it's that Pep doesn't like his media commitments, it's more that he doesn't like the idiots asking the questions.
On the rare occasion you see him asked a genuine football question his face lights up and he gives some fascinating and insightful answers, he's someone who genuinely loves talking about football and loves giving his views and insights in the game, he just hardly ever gets asked anything intelligent.
This is where Pep and Klopp differ with the press, Klopp will quite happily give them the soundbite or zany remark for their headlines but Pep won't get sucked in to their lowest common denominator, race to the bottom bullshit.
I mean what do they expect when after a match they ask stuff like "You must be really happy after that 8-0 win" instead of asking things like "What tactical changes did you make to help you to dominate this game?".

Also the way they completely ignore or talk over other team when they have the ball is fooking embarrassing.
waiting till next Sunday it will be Dippers against the most evil organisation ever.
Just wondering if the oil money gets mentioned...is that nor racism Mmm

it is racist, it’s in the same vein as saying people arrived on banana boats & ive called out journalists for it, saved for when times change.

If he gets intelligent questions, he gives intelligent answers. When he is asked a question designed to trip him up, he answers it as it deserves.

'How do you feel' is the standard lazy journo question whether the person has just won the lottery or just lost their family in a fire.
'I feel like smacking you between the eyes' must be a common thought

As I've got a lazy afternoon planned I fancy watching both BBC and Sky documentaries celebrating our centurions and formidable seasons.

For some reason, I can't find them in the BBC or sky TV libraries.

There's a couple of Rag ones and two Liverpool ones about them winning one PL title. Damned if I can see any on the city's achievements?

I must have imagined them...

I`ve been saying for years now that Pep would sooner be anywhere than talking to the fucking press.People say he looks miserable at times ... so would most if you kept getting asked the same repetitive questions and by some shit faced journo who loves to hear the sound of his own voice.
Pep treats virtually all media people with contempt ... and so he should.
