That's either a very good fishing expedition or you need to go to your GP for a dementia check. The media had us failing FFP in 2010, before it had even started. Then there was the fuss over Mancini's appointment and even outright lies.
The campaign against City began even as due diligence began and it was orchestrated form the start from the swamp. It was City's money which was ruining football, but no-ne would ever join such an upstart club. Then the other members of the gang got seriously worried and we had FFP, the most brazen expression of contempt for commercial law, foisted on the game to stop Sheikh Mansour spending his money and to maximise profits for a band of grubby, sticky fingered Yanks. The next step in this evolution was the overtly political intervention of a rabble of scribblers such as Conn et al whose aim was to convince the worried, the scared and the stupid that Manchester City were a threat to human rights everywhere, quite unlike the squeaky clean authors of FFP for instance. The propaganda may change, its mouthpieces may vary but they're all the same - this is our game, you're not wanted.

Klopp's a lying turd, trying to deflect from his own and his team's shortcomings.

We both played on the 19th of December, us at Southampton and them at Palace. Since then, we've played 13 games while they've played 11. Our 13 includes the 2 League Cup games away at Emirates and Old Trafford (a competition we take seriously unlike them). So our "2 weeks off" involved 2 more games than them.

I wonder if any journalist has done some basic research and pointed that out. The club PR team should be all over this, with an official statement to make Klopp look like the lying hypocrite he is, rather than leaving Pep to deal with it.

Other way around sky would had all the stats of games played days we not played within an hour of the press conference and be repeated every hour and how Pep has been disrespectful! But no no stats and it’s about Klopp getting one over on pep with the mind games.

Ur probably right ,at first they reported with no hatred, but it just goes to show that it was all back handed compliments,

they don’t mind the odd season when an unlikely winner occurs ,such as us in 2011/12,Leicester etc,

but when it turns into more ,their real motives and agend’s quickly come to the fore which leads me to believe that it is indeed true that these so called journalists are in the pay of these clubs in red
Maybe there's nothing personal in it but it's just what makes the press money? Which I suppose doesn't explain the BBC's position.
After we won the title in 2014 a Liverpool supporting mate said he'd found 6 different books about Liverpool's title challenge. All the "Dared to Dream" bollards. Said he'd never seen one about the team that actually won the league

Always makes me smile how obvious it is that he fucking despises Simon Stone and his inane but snide fishing expeditions
Stone's question was pathetic. He essentially said: "Are you concerned that you will be criticised for having a two-week Covid break over Christmas following Jurgen Klopp's comments." He couched it as if it was true when in fact we had multiple players affected and only one match was actually postponed. In fact we had more games and less rest time than LFC so the Klopp claim was just false.
Stone must know the claim by Klopp is false (he can check on Google). A fair and legitimate question would have been: "Were you surprised by Jurgen Klopp's comments." Stone is a disgrace.

They would all have been written with the assumption of cashing in on a scouse title win. Same as The Times with their extensive season review of the team that came second in 2019

Pity pep didn’t say “with you being a very good bbc sports Journalist you will know we didn’t have 2 weeks of”?
“So how many weeks days did we have of because of covid”? Wait to see what he says

Pep should ask the c*nt what time it is and see if he flashes his Rag sponsored time piece.
Burt is a Liverpool FC fan and, like so many in the media, incapable of being impartial. If the Telegraph was a credible organisation they wouldn't have asked him to do that article they would have found someone who was not biased.
