Amazingly I did get a reply which was

“we decided to post the comment as it was an interesting piece that would spark debate”

We then followed this with two replies to provide a balance (From City fans)

Well that makes it all ok then!

It wasn’t an interesting piece at all. It was a piece of shit made up by some armchair rag and the moderator no doubt took great delight in posting that.
Interesting piece!
How the mighty have fallen.

A good number of rags associate themselves with Salford City who have had a meteoric rise, about 15 years the ground at Moor Lane had 1 concrete stand and crowds were prob 100 or less, from that to playing at Wembley at the weekend. Im assuming Salfords money was all earned the right way but wouldnt be surprised if some of their new fanbase deserted them if the rags became successful again. The media seem to have no issue with the funding that has taken Salford to where they are, wonder if they have soul?
This is the one and only reason Gary Chuckle offers a level of support for City over FFP. Because he knows full well Salford City have been funded in exactly the same way as City were in the early years after the takeover, albeit on a smaller scale.

More so. Bar the initial couple of windows we haven't been massively outspending the likes of the rags, Barca, Madrid etc, we've spent less when you consider wages. Salford were probably outspending their entire divisions combined until they got to the EFL.

The fact that in 2010 he ran for a Labour safe seat, didn't get selected by the party and has turned Tory tells you everything you need to know about him as a person
We'll good because if he stands for the Tories in Salford he certainly got no future in Politics.
