They do not have a problem with the pronunciation of the Chelsea keepers name do they. The French pronounce it Mendy as we do. It's an African name.
Saw that myself, typical. Not how we extended our lead, or win at inform Fulham, or anything about 3 games in a week, just this HeadlineBBC leading with Aguero's first goal for 14 months....
Only just managed to watch the highlights having missed the match live and had to rewind to make sure I heard that right. It didn't help when he started on about Sergio only 'just' scoring the penalty as their goalie 'nearly' saved it. 'Another inch' apparently would have done it despite the power on the shot needing another foot to have actually had a chance of keeping it out. The goalie picked the right direction (out of a possible two), whoopee fucking doo.
I'm not usually one for the agenda thread but for Christ sake...
Think this was the stream I watched. Said same thing. Ears pricked up when said 'Champions elect'The stream I watched last night was very complimentary. It was all Fulham beating the Champions but the Champions elect beating them. Then - how frightening it was that Diaz was still only 23. Very complimentary all game.
They never should have gotten rid of the "mute the twat" button on sky. That being said, with no crowds it's easy enough to just mute the lot this season.Find it easier watching with no commentary , I don’t have one when I’m watching in the ground so no idea why I need one watching on tv .
No wonder they use his first name. Not even sure if how to pronounce it, same as his job seems too easy. They do not have a problem with the pronunciation of the Chelsea keepers name do they.
The real story is how well he would have done if he had been fit.Just watching the Super Sunday matchday on sky and like all the other media outlets they lead with the "Sergio Aguero ends his ,14 month goal drought," bollocks, while completely omitting the fact he's been injured almost all that time.
