Anyone pick up on the BT commentary after the penalty decision last night ??? “This will be overturned for Gundogan’s stamp on the goalkeeper” Really ??? Stamp ??? Jesus wept
Yep I just shook my head. Overall it was bad but Keown did put a bit of balance to the biased commentary eg highlighting short pre season, still need match sharpness etc as did Hargreaves tbf Main commentator was an arse. I’m not sure but I think he said that this was Aguero first goal since March!! Err I wonder why that might be.

Main one was Darren Fletcher. At times he seemed like he was the ex Rag.

"Citys defensive frailties papers over the cracks as they lumber to a 3-1 victory...."

"Ajax pay tribute to the greatest Dutch player ever by scoring the own goal that gives injury savaged Liverpool a throughely deserved win in a match dominates by grief and respect for the lost VVD..."

Not to mention spend the most and have the biggest wage bill because we are owned by a country.
And have a striker who rarely gets goals. He couldn't score in a pandemic or in an operating theatre to paraphrase an old saying.

Marcus Rashford mentioned about a dozen times in the short time l listened to the same programme. It seems he is now an expert on national spending in a crisis and anything to do with bringing up kids.

Propaganda works even the journalists seem to believe the stuff they peddle.
Yup, yup, yup and yup to your various points..

Btw, re your comment about Sergio not being able to ‘score in an operating theatre‘, I swapped WhatsApps with a chum last night and said, after we’d both read that idiot on the BBC feed saying Sergio’s been going through a ‘goal drought’ since March, that ‘Agüero couldn’t even hit an operating theatre door, the useless f**ker’.. is it a case of ‘great minds’ or a case of ‘fools seldom differ’?!

Keown should only commentate on Thursdays when fucking Arsenal are likely to be playing or better still starring in the Beano's well thumbed pages the Pug ugly ****.

Always negative as fuck about everything we do.
They blatantly missed out Portos manager refusing to shake Peps hand when it was obvious last night as well. Try doing that against Klopp or the bus driver and see what happens.
BT commentary is shocking with this twat or McPointy doing our games.

Every time we did something well he would say 'good form city despite not playing well.' If we don't steamroll teams we are poor and average these days. Hard fought win played down once again.

and yet, his negativity didn't influence the result in any way, so poor or brilliant, it's still 3-1 :-)
