We all know what's going on at Rag Central, Mediacity, Salford Quays.

The day the BBC sucked up to Fergie and United after upsetting Fergie, was the day United all but ran BBC Football in all but name and proof. BBC Football will do all they can to show United they are still backing them, and are sticking to the agreement.

To be fair, anyone who beats those arrogant, entitled Bayern twats is likeable in my book.

But look who runs the BBC social media account: https://www.linkedin.com/in/nick-coppack-668505a3

Manchester United’s Nick Coppack has been appointed as the new social media lead at BBC Sport

The role has been vacant since Ian Singleton was named editor of the BBC Sport website in January.

Coppack has been social media manager at Manchester United since July 2014.

Prior to that he was a contributing editor for the club’s media outlets for almost eight years. He will officially start at the neighbouring BBC in July.

BBC must employ a whole department dedicated to kicking City. To play this card shows their increasing desperation. I fervently hope we win the whole competition and beat Real in the final just to see the difficulty they have in supporting an English club against Jonny foreigner. They will find the angle of course. If we were playing Khmer Rouge FC, managed by Pol Pot they would still land in support of the plucky Cambodian underdogs. BBC integrity and subtlety rating - 0.
There is a problem in their football online coverage where the head of the sports social media department at Salford is a United fan. It is not really deliberate bias but more unconscious bias. Younger more inexperienced staff don't want to upset their boss and produce content which they think will go down well. It is a subtle bias.
The other element is pure clickbait. It is a fact that positive United stories (or Liverpool) get more online visits. Negative City stories also do well because they are lapped up by Liverpool and United fans. A lot of online staff (not just the BBC) have their performance measured by how many readers they attract.
This digital element has corrupted the entire media industry. It is worse when it happens at the BBC because they are publically funded and are supposed to provide balanced, fair, and neutral coverage. To make matters worse the BBC itself is in a crisis because of its dwindling audience and is struggling to survive in its current form. It can't be justified any more.

Yep a rag fcuker and his bias agenda at the impartial bbc is a disgrace!

What is this Wayne Rooney’s Derby I keep hearing?

I don’t remember them being Brian Clough’s Derby.
