I predict for a living. I predict the direction of stocks. Sometimes I'm right, sometimes I'm wrong. I've had a long career, so I've been good (or often lucky) enough to be more right than wrong.
But my customers would rightfully tentpole me if I boldly predicted that X stock would be a huge winner vs. Y stock, was fucking completely wrong as Y stock outperformed X stock and then . . . (deep breath) HAD THE FUCKING NERVE TO PRETEND I'D NEVER MADE THE PREDICTION I DID.
I'd fucking fire myself if I did that.
