Maybe a few of these photos they took go against the narrative they are giving the PL over the incident?
Yes and by controlling the picture taking they can also coin in on selling syndication rights. It’s the same covert controlling influence they exert by insisting broadcasters don’t show the blacked out upper sections of the swamp on Thursday European nights.

I see that story of us being investigated by the premier league died a death. Wonder if we've had a quiet word with certain organisations!
The story seemed to come from reporters reading Blue Moon and we've had no further information to provide them. You can hardly expect them to go out and discover stuff for themselves.

An appeal is going through the court system and , if no leaks (probably a contempt of court and both City and PL want confidentiality) it will be sometime before it raises it's head again.

An excellent post from @Chris in London here:

I really think we should just end the thread here, these people get off on their click bait articles and then watching us post all their tweets and talk about them.

I know it’s hard when they post such hypocritical & laughable articles but they really need to be ignored by us.
Just for the record, The Guardian`s writer, Nick Cohen, who recognised City`s beautiful football and success but then went on to undermine it was, according to public records, alleged to be "part of a circle of pernicious Islamophobic commentators". His article displays all the signs of being driven by Political motives

He was educated at Altrincham Grammar School and has spent most of his time in Islington, London. Maybe his football club allegiance is a factor too.

Click bait is an issue. Challenging with facts and evidence is not.

There does appear to be a certain lack of pure sports journalists around (Martin Samuel is probably the last of a dying breed). Agenda fuelled bigotry seems to be the accepted norm these days.

We've just won the title yet again, to follow our fourth successive Caraba0 cup win and we still get all sensitive about an article by a certain Nick Cohen or Dick Cohen or whoever he is. And yet the article is little more than a pack of lies from someone for whom we could have our own bingo card of reasons why he makes up rubbish about City. In fact all his article does is show the way City bingo has evolved over the years. City are now a great team, Guardiola is a great manager, our players are no longer mercenaries and so on. But City bingo has now come to rest upon our ownership and our funding. All lies, of course but the wisdom of the game has it that if the lie is big enough and it's repeated often enough people will believe it. Only they won't. Cohen knows he's talking bollocks. Conn has gone quiet since CAS blew his arguments to pieces and so have the rest. Every now and then they raise their heads and treat us to the same old lies with a minimum of a makeover. They are writing for rags, scousers and gooners especially, to comfort them as yhey sit among the ruins of their fallen empires. No doubt they will say that every word written by these journalists is true, but the events of the past weeks has shown that this is totally without any importance. Water off a duck's back. How much clearer could it be made that what concerns rags scousers and gooners has nothing to do with City's ownership? The fans of thes clubs are, in fact, obsessed by the inadequacies of their own owners. Gooners want Kroenke out, rags would lynch any Glazer they could get hold of but they'll never see a Glazer anywhere near the swamp and the scousers seem to have a fund of ill will towards FSG. Sheikh Mansour would be cheered to the rafters if he came to the Etihad again. City fans know very well what we have to thank him for and Khaldoon is to be seen regularly at the ground. So drone on Cohen and co we at City don't care.
