I dont think the late Jimmy Armfield an earlier England right back and later broadcaster, ever showed even a hint of bias towards the teams he played for or managed.Something that might be worth thinking about with Neville is, and correct me if I'm wrong, but a lot of our recent games have been on BT Sports. So Neville is likely to have only really seen or commentated over our games against United, Liverpool, and Tottenham.
So even though we defended well against Liverpool and United, he's not going to acknowledge it. He'll only think about the first 20 minutes against Liverpool and he was being a real sourpuss against United. And even though we did well most of the time against Tottenham he'll only think about the 4-5 timesZidaneKane did anything rather than the whole match.
My point is, like everyone else he's ignorant to what's going on at City and that's what is carrying the narrative.
Ps He really ought to learn how to keep his emotions in check.
Perhaps I am being unfair in comparing these two in any respect - they are chalk and cheese.
