According to the Daily United, the PL title is already a two horse race.

Reading online most Evertonians are just glad to get their better players back for the rescheduled game but like you, human life is more important.

The only issue I have is the club statement but that’s hardly something to get too upset about.

The big fuss is mostly from Liverpool and Utd fans/media cockroaches, who are using the pandemic to point score.

I think it’s unfortunately going to take someone connected to a football club to die before wankers like Gary Neville and others in the “WhatsApp group” have to retreat.

For me we should be in a national lockdown again and football should be binned.

The same virus but 70% more contagious is wreaking havoc and 981 people have died in the last 24 hrs report.

I laugh off quite a lot of media stuff and don’t pay attention but for those that think we are thin skinned, it’s the absolute opposite.

What sort of pompous **** says “almost every fan on the planet can see“ in relation to any topic, never mind one as opaque and impenetrable as a club’s finances? Who the fuck is Matthew Syed to speak on behalf of almost every fan on the planet?

Worse than the paper's actions for me is the piece that says the wording is approved by IPSO, the regulatory body not seeming bothered much by the deliberate lie written in advance to stir things up and apparently happy that such a lie was prepared in advance and 'accidentally' published.
