To me as a club we were always tolerated to be patted on the head as we experienced more lows than a faulty barometer. Tyler worked for ITV before taking the Sly shilling and would have seen first hand the 'istree clubs being more successful. Sadly 1981 was a turning point in our fortunes. After this the coverage of us was of a thing very much to be patronised as we were no threat.

We've been to York City and back if you'll forgive the expression. The reset switch was never considered to change the narrative even with successive seasons in the top 10. Sly had an advertising hoarding outside their Hq in the 90s. It contained a number of football jerseys hung up in a kind of glass fronted display. How they gleefully reported that all the shirts contained had been nicked .... except those of Citeh! Perhaps not much demand for City shirts in Fking Isleworth.

Having now become a threat the vested interests have done their level best to eliminate that threat. The media have been their willing accomplices in trying to drag our name through the gutter. It is as if CAS found us guilty. Still recall Kalpol Shitstain gaping like a guppy when the verdict came in. It never entered their heads we might be innocent.

I believe there is a systematic and organised attempt to discredit us at every turn. Many will accept the spoonfed bile from the various broadcasters. We have to do our talking on the pitch assuming the season's not binned off.

Propaganda levels for both red bellends that Stalin would have approved of show it's not a level playing field so we must play as well as the Centurions season. Hopefully we can have the last laugh.

I got told he was a Rag @Prestwich_Blue is a big mate of his so can probably confirm.
I always thought that, as his dad seemed to got to OT a lot but got told the family were big Spurs fans by someone who knew them well. I can however confirm with absolute certainty that they are utter arseholes.

Of course, being a rag and being an utter arsehole are certainly not mutually exclusive.

I'm not insinuating anything.

However, I always like to look into the background of people, who seem to be continually at odds with City, wondering why, and for what reason?

Harris was educated at Manchester Grammar School and revived a B.A. in Politics from the University of York in 2004.

Harris began his career with the family's regional publication, the Jewish Telegraph,
Sooooo, despite receiving a very priveledged education at MGS and then at University, the only job the no mark could get was at daddy's. Sounds about right.

Here is another beauty from the telegraph. Oliver Brown's opening lines in his match report....
'it used to be a standing joke, the lengths to which Pep Guardiola, backed by Abu Dhabi' s BOTTOMLESS sovereign wealth fund would go to reinforce Manchester City's strength in depth....
City should at least respond to some of these articles, they are getting so predictable that they could make a template to respond to most of them:

"Manchester City think the comments made recently by <insert journalist/newspaper>, bought-and-paid-for by Qatar's bottomless sovereign wealth fund, are wholly inaccurate. Their attempts to push a false narrative about the club's funding and ownership, are clear and organised."

Just caught the end of the Football roundup on Granada. More than half the item was spent on Monday and Pep defending him. The game was brushed off in cursory fashion. By contrast Bingo Klopp's eulogy showed the demented one as being reasonable saying the title's wide open. As I type they've shoehorned Gerry Marsden in and that magical night in Istanbul. Never seen Meacock the Hutt so animated!

No agenda natch!
Same over on BBC ‘N West Tonight’ (for the second night running).

Bet they won’t make the same effort for the legend (’leg end’?) that is Vince Miller when he pops his clogs. His rendition of ‘Blue Moon’ on the pitch before the final game of the 95/96 season (2-2 vs Liverpool), when we got relegated from the Premier League, was the definitive version, knocked Sinatra’s, Elvis’s and The Marcels‘ versions into a cocked hat..

Firstly, the sheer flowing brilliance of City must be fully acknowledged, the final 3-1 scoreline nowhere near a true reflection of their superiority despite having to field a side seriously weakened by Covid-19 and injury.

The manner in which they made light of their reduced circumstances was a serious statement of intent in the context of the Premier League. They had not hit top gear this season but this was overdrive and then some.
