Why the fuck would we need Ramos when we already have 4 central defenders plus walker ?
Because our Defence is shit ! .... I’m sure I’ve read that in multiple highly regarded news outlets :O

Yeah I alluded to that. Still seems very very pathetic tho. Not sure how these pundits, commentators and journalists can look at themselves in the mirror, being such arse lickers.Simply because it makes them a lot of money.
You’ll get a few ‘likes’ for that, mate! What i dont get, as an outsider to English football but still someone who's followed the league since the late 80s, is why the media is so in love with man united.
We all know about the classless aspects of their past and skeletons in their cupboard. Its been said extensively on here. Then there are the classless players over the years and ferguson inciting hatred, yet apparently every **** in the media loves him? Sycophantically calling him 'sir alex' all the time, which is very cringeworthy. Hes bullied many people in football but his reputation not only hasnt suffered but seems to have been enhanced. It is vile.
In recent years they've had scumbags like ferdinand, giggs, ronaldo, Cantona, rooney, Keane etc in their team. We know what they've got up to on and off the pitch, it is well documented. Their fans and the media call other clubs classless and deluded when they're the biggest offenders for this. Other clubs have issues too but they get called out on it. United don't.
Its not even like they're the most successful club in the world or something. Their list of football legends is far less impressive than Barcelona or Real Madrid, and real have won more than four times as many European cups. They tended to get outplayed a lot by 'lesser' clubs in Europe, even at their prime. Fergusons poor European record in england is never talked about, its just taken as an unquestioned fact by the spineless media that hes the best manager ever, and this informs gullible football fans across the country. Despite what their low standards having fans think, they've never even played particularly good football, most of the time its been pace merchant counter attacking, certainly nowhere near as impressive as peps barca, bayern and man city teams. Their best teams tended to win the league with points totals in the 70s or early 80s, and only had one real challenger at a time, sometimes none, again nowhere near as impressive as recent Liverpool or City teams.
I honestly think the media tries to put this club on a far greater level than they're at, and that is why they need penalties and var so much, because the reality on the pitch is their team, manager and players are nowhere near as good as the media proclaims them to be and resultantly they struggle through games. They'll make out maguire and lindelof are great in the media, for example, but then you watch them play and they're absolute bombscares. We also seen it a lot in the 2009 and 2011 cl finals. 2009 they thought theyd beat Barcelona easily, 2011 they thought they had a great chance of revenge. Both times destroyed, as I expected. It is the emperors new clothes. They talk up youth players who turn out to be crap.
I guess I'm just confused as to why the media loves such a horrible and frankly overrated institution? Is it simply because they got into bed with sky and got most of their success that way so cos of money have been media darlings ever since? Does it date back to the sympathy for Munich, which they have exploited to the maximum?
I can understand media outlets in this world fawning over real Madrid, or ac Milan, or bayern, or Barcelona, dare I say it on here even Liverpool. But man united? Im not saying they're not dickhead clubs, but they have more success and standing in the game than man united. I dont know why the media loves them like they're the best club around or something. They're far from it, both on and off the pitch.
Sorry for typos or punctuation, on my tablet.
Because they're not journalists anymore, more cheerleaders now.Yeah I alluded to that. Still seems very very pathetic tho. Not sure how these pundits, commentators and journalists can look at themselves in the mirror, being such arse lickers.
Sympathy in the aftermath of Munich.Yeah I alluded to that. Still seems very very pathetic tho. Not sure how these pundits, commentators and journalists can look at themselves in the mirror, being such arse lickers.
The journalists/media are instructed on what to say or write by their bosses so that the maximum amount of money is extracted. It is 100% this, everything else is noise. If City made them more money we would be fawned over just like the rags.Yeah I alluded to that. Still seems very very pathetic tho. Not sure how these pundits, commentators and journalists can look at themselves in the mirror, being such arse lickers.
When the top lad of BBC Sport retired some years ago he commented that if the rags had not been first on MOTD that Ferguson would ring and get in his ear even on a Sunday.Sympathy in the aftermath of Munich.d
MOTD. In the days of one match per week, it was MU more often than any other club.
The catholic connection to the BBC.
'Georgie' Best, loved by women.
