Its not just a matter of the way they treat us, there is also the way they treat others particularly the teams in red, so favourably, either by glorifying them or by turning a blind eye to stuff like the hacking by clubs and people connected to them.
I watched Panorama the other night and some of the shady practices of Standard Chartered Bank being detailed in more mainstream media has also been largely ignored. That bank is extremely dodgy but made a good investment sponsoring Liverpool as they will not get mass media criticism while connected to them.

Has anyone asked Delaney or any of the other WhatsApp dickheads their opinion on the Standard Chartered stuff from the Panorama program?

It's funny, but I don't recall seeing anything on Twitter.

Not a ripple. Standard Chartered"s dodgy dealings have been around in the financial press. Panorama is a bit less easy to ignore. It did push some of the Fifa crimes.
Delaney is not interested in facts that do no suit his agenda.
If Liverpool had any decency they should have dissociated themselves from that bank but who knows? They might have hidden the ,£50m for the new stadium consultancy that never was.

I've always defended the club over its relationship with the media. But maybe next month, maybe next year, it's going to become clear just how wretchedly pusillanimous we really are.
Am I reading too much into that PB? Are you hinting that something is going down?

interesting to say the least, not least a brand new word to me :-) but why we should be so lily livered, i hope there is a long game to this, i suspect though it will be a financial reason

First of all l will say that Rashford did well in getting involved in the school meals lending his same to the campaign and increasing public awareness of child hunger in this country. His involvement together with the Tory MPs who were pushing for the free meals forced Barmy Boris to change his mind. In fact it fell well for Boris - changing his mind because an England footballer raising a lot of attention seemed much better than a rebellion by his own back bencher. But the important thing is the kids get at least one meal a day in school or not. Of course we tax payers foot the bill not St Marcus but l am happy with that.
The charity he works with are also doing good 'work with some supermarkets so good for them.

Moving on to today l open google to a headline in the Liverpool Echo 'l do what l do for Liverpool- Rashford '.lt turns out that Sadiq Khan a born and bred Londoner and never one to avoid publicity and after all this time he writes to congratulate Rashford in a public letter but manages to throw in
something like 'although you are a United player and l am a life long Liverpool fan...bullshit bullshit to show what a jolly good chap he is. Rashford replies that he does it for Liverpool as much as anywhere which is a bit different to the headline which reads as if it is just Liverpool Fc or just the city of Liverpool. Poor journalism or cleverly worded?
The story has been repeated in many of Reach pic's huge number of national and local papers (it owns well over 200) even the local rag in Southend on Sea. Attention has been brought to the problems of poor people and the charity but a load of favourable exposure to Rashford, Sadiq Khan, United, Liverpool, Aldis, Kellogs, Reach plc and more. All good as they say. Silly Sally and the BBC took their eye off the ball on this one
Meanwhile most of what our club and CITC do is ignored even dismissed as publicity stunts. Many clubs and players do good works, often avoiding publicity. City have a relationship with a particular ward at Manchester Children's Hospital that l only learned of through the OSC.
It seems our owners perhaps know they can never beat the media, especially when Reach seem to be patching up the United and Liverpool rivalry with City as a common enemy for them both.
