I took one for the team both Tuesday leaving the volume on the raggy game and post match discussion & the same with our game as the CL isn't my favourite compy I thought I could be a little & I mean a little more objective.....

Couldn't have been a more different approach to the games on BT, mutv/Portotv, every red fall was a pen, every PSG one wasn't, our pen was lucky as Gundog STAMPED on the keeper, he also wasn't fouled for his free kick, again smoke up Porto's & rags arse all game.

In the studio..after the rag game first words were lots of happy people in the studio....there was only Lescott not spitting evil after our game.

Makes you laugh (not) doesn’t it. BBC https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport. ‘Own goal lives injury hit Liverpool win over Ajax’ whilst ‘Aguero’s 40th CL goal helps City beat Porto’. Arguably Scousers were only missing Alison and Van Dick from 1st choice 11. We were missing Laporte, Ake/Mendy, De Bruyne and Jesus. Wankers
BBC Breakfast reports Liverpool win DESPITE ALL their injury problems. City dont seem to have any at all. Or none mentioned seconds after the exaggerated Liverpool report.
How do these people feel when they are told to mislead customers deliberately?

We don’t dictate the media agenda. We are not seen as English institutes like the Mersey and Salford Scum. The media has built their foundations on these cunts.

It won’t change unless there is a seismic change by our owners but the colour of their skin and ethnicity will always keep us out. We never had a chance in the PR war. It was over the moment the good Sheikh purchased city.

I have no objection to calling the Scum Scum. But
For fucks sake. The SCUM don`t come from Salford. There`s a clue in the name of the ground. Old Trafford.
Not Weaste,
not Lower or Higher Broughton,
not Little Hulton,
not Walkden,
not Wallness,
not Irlam O`th Height,
not Pendleton,
not Ordsal,
not Langworthy,
not Boothstown,
not Worsley,
not Duchy,
not Claremont
not Seedley,
not Charlestown,
Not Blackfriars,

I hope this clears it up for you fuckers who keep trying to associate my City to those cunts.

We are out numbered by the rag fuckers and that there is no dispute.
Most City fans I know from Salford are a belligerent fuckers because they`ve been surrounded by the cunts all their lives.

Alisson was also out for the little brave boys in red. And Thiago and Matip. So 4 players out meant they could any start with 7 players from their squad of 11. Also those that were left haven't slept since Virgil's history defining assassination on TV. Kloppo was still wearing the same tracksuit with VFK's sweat smeared all over it. Make no mistake there has been no greater real life victory in sport since Clubber Lang got taken to task by Rocky "Athletic" Balboa

Good old Sly. Dippers win despite not having Virgin Van Dick and City win with Sergio ending his longest goal drought ever. Last time he scored was in March 230 days ago. No mention of a slight interruption by Covid. Next feature is CL hits (changes shot to Bingo all smiles) and misses (changes shot to Pep with straight face deep in concentration looking like hes not happy)

Cunts!

I thought they were in Media City, which is in Salford.

Where is Wellness, incidentally?

Quality rant, we moved out of Lower Broughton when I was a toddler but I'm still proud of my Salford roots and get really irritated by the rags being referred to as "Salford".

The so called Aguero drought Lmfao has already been mentioned.
The headlines though are “ Is Aguero a CL great” and “ Immense Fabinho”.
One negative and one positive headline.
All you need to know. Twats.
“Is Aguero a CL great” isn't a negative, it's just a question. I presume Fabinho had a good game, can't comment as I don't bother watching them.

It’s a question which in my opinion had negative connotations but that is semantics. And if you read the article it become apparent it’s negative.how about “Aguero joins elite list of CL goal scorers” ? As for Fabinho I’m just highlighting the different tone in the headline but hey ho.

Couldn't be arsed reading the article TBH, but you said the headline was negative, it's not. And that's not semantics, it's a fact.

Finally Aguero reaches 40 goals for consistent champions league failures Moneybags Man City in disappointing victory over Portuguese minnows whilst savvy transfer buy Fabinho stars for injury hit Premier League runaway Champions Liverpool as they never miss a beat with commanding win over Ajax.

Ok it’s only my opinion which has not changed after your English lesson. Thank you.
Any time.

I've just read the article which I presume is:

It's fairly factual but without really addressing the point that it's a team game. I wouldn't have said it's particularly negative.

This picture made me a bit sad though, miss some of those players.

It's actually a good article,worth a read. I've clipped the following....

Sergio Aguero reaches 40 goals but can he be considered a Champions League great?

But, while his phenomenal haul cannot be questioned, his wider impact on the Champions League is somewhat less convincing when you compare it to the company he is keeping at the top of its scoring charts - all but two of the players above him have won it at least once.

A great goal ratio - but why do they dry up?

It is only when you scrutinise WHEN Aguero's European goals have come that his record begins to falter.
