It has been reported in some tabloids that Mane should have seen red....but the fact that VAR did not even ask the ref to view it shows the state of the game

Didnt someone get sent off against everton for a less offense ?

Seems that liverpool have free reign to do as they please without the tv media calling it out.

I also heard there was a potential handball offence not even reviewed against liverpool as well last night

The game is gone, multiple offences punished in other games. Play in red abd you are let off it seems

Not a single reference to Mane escaping a red card in the BBC report.
And not one Jota about the ball running up his arm before he toe-ended it in! The DT reports this morning that the Whistling Wankers have been told to 'go soft' on the new handball law. I think the minute they walk into Anfield they go soft on anything where a Dipper player breaks any law - Mané's latest excursion into street thuggery and Jota's juggling skills. Won't be long before Liverpool are allowed to pick the ball up and run with it!

We slip down the league and The Athletic seize the chance to revert to the original TOP FOUR:

Over the next few weeks, we’ll look at the future stars coming through at Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and plenty of others across the top flight.

Scousers have been picking things up and running off with them for years, suppose its natural for the football team to follow suit

Yet the absolute deluge of bad press for the Aguero challenge in 2016 which saw him retrospectively banned for 3 games, including the derby. I seem to remember that being on a loop on SSN & BBC Sport.

It f*cking stinks.

5 Live sports news was just contrasting the fact we're signing a player for £65m whilst the lower leagues are in financial trouble!

They're obviously struggling - what started out as a respected football publication for fans of all teams quickly descended into one for only the best supported teams when the money began to dry up.

Did they also say we had to also sell one for £15M so we could meet the asking price?

fuck me the media have gone full on manchester city in break down mode this morning
talk about the wheels coming off the bus ? well the full fucking engine as dropped and the big end blown
the end of pep ? the whole of the defence is a shambles ? city will not be in the title race ?

look the whole of the premier league league is going to blow up after last season and no pre-season ? pep and city has had only 2 weeks training and major injuries and covid-19 cases ? players running on empty because of fucking international football a week before the new season ?? crazy is the new norm

this is a warning to the whole of the premier league ? somebody is going to be really left in a bad way or worst
players are not machines and the bigger the club the more the players have to play football at all levels, city just finished the old season and had to send players to international football a week before the new season. forget having a weeks rest than the others than did not happen because city had 14 players at international football

there is a big big different to players just dropping of the pace after 30 minutes in games to what we are seeing right now, its plain and simple the body of the players are shutting down ? forget fighting to get your 2nd wind that is not happening ? just go and watch both games wolves and leicester and its clear as mud

i fear something bad is going to happen and it will be to late ? pep is not crazy and knows there is to much football being played and city are down to the bare bones and we have to play again on wednesday madness

Liverpool be fine drugged up var’d up!
