Worth a watch....
That's such a breath of fresh air to hear pundits talking positively about us.
Worth a watch....
Ha - should be interesting in terms of CL and PL rights cash going forward.
The ref got that one spot on.. until then he seemed to be favouring PSG but no complaints nowHe was always going to show a card. It was obvious he was waiting for the VAR official to confirm what colour
Thought Jeans was ok last night. Half decent summarising for a change.I was amazed when re-watching it this morning (I turned the sound down last night) to hear Jermain Jenas saying that the ref was giving City nothing for all the fouls that were being committed against us. Not often they notice, or at least admit that they notice!
The criteria is, did they play during the Sky peak years mid nineties, otherwise they are irrelevant - How many times do they (pundits) bang on about Beckham Scholes Giggs Viera Bergkamp Gerrard etc when they are trying to make comparisons with a modern footballer. They are literally stuck in the pastI’ve just been reading the supposed shortlist for The Premier League Hall of Fame 23 man shortlist. There are 5 players on it who played for City past their peak and aren’t on the list for what they did at City.
I was shocked when looking at the list there was no Kompany, captained City to 4 PL titles, however Vidic, Adams, Campbell, Terry, Ferdinand are all on it.
Also no Silva, 10 years service, also 4 PL titles.
Finally no Sergio!!!! Scored the most iconic PL goal of all time, most hat tricks, leading foreign scorer and also FOUR PL TITLES.In ahead of him, Les Ferdinand, Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen & Van Persie who combined won 2 PL titles and have all scored less than him in the league.
Le Tissier is in the list who was a fantastic player & was loyal to Southampton but I am wondering what the criteria is?
Maybe with time they will add City players but those 3 should surely be on the shortlist now.
People are on here 5 mins after a unbelievable win whinging about the media and so they must be looking for it or using outlets everyone knows are wankers.
I watched the game, I though BT comms were good. Glad it wasn’t mcmanananananann myself. I then watched the interviews and pundits afterwords all glowing. I then took myself to bed at 11pm and had 20 mins on blue moon again all buzzing. Then had my cornflakes this morning while watching SSN and flicking blue moon, I’ve then took my 20mins drive to work with talksport on and again they were all purring at our performance. The only blot or negative was when I viewed this thread and I’m thinking where they looking to get offended when we have just put one foot in the final, surely we all know not to go on Twitter or the bbc forum to seek intellectual feedback from ex bitter red journalists or pundits or media outlets who are in it to make money and money doesn’t come from blowing smoke up our arses.
That did include 48 minutes of advertsSo why did you have them on for 50 mins

Lol. The absolute fucking state of that. Sad, bitter ****.Andy Dunn, Daily Mirror.
Unlike Man Utd, Liverpool and co - Man City and Chelsea have got off ESL fiasco lightly
Repercussions already fading for Sheikh Mansour and Roman Abramovich … but not for Glazers, John Henry and Stan Kroenke
I've not read the article (and have no intention of doing so) but how do you find that headline a bad thing?Lol. The absolute fucking state of that. Sad, bitter ****.

How exactly have we got off lightly? Have punisments been handed out? Nope. Have United and Liverpool been raked over the coals by the media more harshly than City? Nope. United and Liverpool were clearly the driving force behind the whole ESL project. United and Liverpool deserve more criticism. The headline implies otherwise.I've not read the article (and have no intention of doing so) but how do you find that headline a bad thing?
You know what, hold my hands up...completely misread the headline (I'm blaming sleep deprivation caused by a teething 10 month old). How exactly have we got off lightly?
