The BBC again:-

Former England defender Stephen Warnock, discussing Man City's first goal on BBC Match of the Day: "Sian Massey-Ellis puts her flag up a bit early because the phase of play hasn't been completed.

"A lot of the players look along and they see that flag and shut off. You can see Romaine Sawyers with his arm up. Then they have to react because the whistle hasn't gone. But that should be the first thought: 'whistle hasn't gone so we should carry on

Warnock is one boring and drab tosser. He puts a pair of glasses on (with fake lenses) and he is then under the illusion that he is some form of intellectual.

Wanker.

Of course the real elephant in the room is Mings.

He's payed 3.8 million a year and doesn't know the rules and gets robbed. Why is no one talking about that? It's not like the guy is on minimum wages and can't be arsed....or is the best hyper car, haircut or tat more important?

He let the side down.
What I found unpalatable about the whole situation was that the City players knew the rules and the opposition didn't. That is just unfair in my opinion.

He does indeed! And he called it on-side very early.
He has a role at Macclesfield FC and said he lives nearby so probably Wilmslow, Prestbury area, guess he's become/has friends with a few blues who have subconsciously influenced him.

State of this. Sky Sports app. Look at the point they’ve even frozen the thumbnail.

Its click bait pal and not intended for us. It is basically being used to annoy/anger the red mafia so that they get all incensed about little old City

Just laugh at it, cos that is what its sole purpose is for, to annoy the target audience

So it’s got to the point where they’re hiring chimps with typewriters now.

Or, has their woke recruitment policy resulted in them prioritising everything but competency?

BBC write up of last nights game.
In the first three very short paragraphs it mentions WBA home record in conceding goals and our luck with a contentious offside.
Yes it’s counterbalanced by brilliant attacking display and likelihood of us thrashing WBA anyway but imho the negatives are in there to dilute the result/performance.

And a "bollocks" button on the Dipper thread if any of them start turning up again.
Funny how all the Dippers who came on here because they "wanted to talk about football" when they were top have all gone crawling back under their stones now we're 7 points ahead of them.
Now I wonder why that could be?
If any of you are lurking, where are you?
