Someone posted a newspaper report in the messi thread attributed to Laporta.

This is the G14 in action:

“It is disrespectful to Barca that clubs like PSG publicly say they are going to sign Messi. This coming from a club-state that have bypassed the rules. We cannot allow clubs and states the luxury of destabilising another club.

"In that sense, we will have to speak with UEFA and FIFA to avoid such actions. PSG must abstain from [talking about Messi]. It is out of place for another club to speak about him. And, at the moment, there is no president in place to respond to this lack of respect."
So that'll be duct-tape for shitheads like Rumenigge and the tax-evading twunt Hoeness. Too late, Leroy was already in their crosshairs, who will be next for the Bayern Munchen hierarchy to raid without a peep.

Just caught a bit of the farcial transfer talk show on Sky. What an absolute shower of shite, full of no marks stealing a living making up shite or repeating what they have read on Twitter. Every potential signing is a ‘fantastic signing’ for that particular club etc etc. Never heard of most of these jokers. One clown just said, referring to the possibility of Lingard to West Ham, “My colleague Kaveh is closely monitoring this”.....WTF does that mean? A set of absolute chancers.

Rant over......
Sly have been having these transfer shows everyday in January claiming to be at the forefront of the big breaking news.......as yet apart from a couple of loan moves and at last Ozil leaving there has been the sum total of fuck all happening!

That glowing speech about Donny could have been scripted by Neil Ashton and United's PR department at Old Trafford. Oh, wait a minute, it probably was!
Remember that South American player they were raving about a few weeks ago who was supposedly going to them, apparently he was going to be the next Ronaldo or something. He’s now going to Brighton and everything has gone quiet.

BBC headline today after the MU defeat last night - "Man Utd disgusted by racial abuse of Tuanzebe and Martial".

First - racial abuse of anyone, even Utd players, is bang out of order and is disgusting. The perpetrators should be banned for life and if possible face criminal charges.
Secondly - this looks like a deflection from last nights defeat and making them out to be victims and deserving of sympathy.
Thirdly - no mention of what the abuse was or who the abuse is from.

Now I have no idea which set of fans this abuse would be from but I imagine Sheffield fans were all giddy and happy after last nights victory (I was as well) but I imagine Utd fans might have been in a bad mood and looking for scapegoats. So in a story to make you feel sorry the Utd the most likely perpetrators are likely to be amongst those that follow Utd (unless it was Chelsea again)

The media will have been loving it this morning, a gift wrapped way to avoid having to write about the defeat... lovely bit of deflection.

Have you noticed every time the media link a player to the Rags or Dippers they describe them as a "Wonderkid", "Messi-esque" or the next Ronaldo and they all turn out to be shit! The last one we had was Buster Phillips!

Bloody hell, Manchester evening news are at it too!

Headline - They top the league... with a little help from the officials along the way

Opening - Manchester City are leaving opponents motionless - with a little help from the officials - as they cruise ominously to the top of the Premier League. West Brom will rightly feel aggrieved at another controversial goal involving Pep Guardiola's side.

What is this shit!
The result of Simon Bajkowski’s bitter salty tears dripping onto his keyboard

Bajkowski, Jackson, Robson and the other rags at the MUEN are hoping someone at the BBC will read their bitter tripe and offer them a job there so they can steal a living on the BBC gravy train at the licence payers expense.

Tbf, I think the abuse was from utd fans (Trafford not Sheffield), so it could have been swept under the bulging carpet - although i don't think the reports call them out as utd fans

We know that – it doesn't matter who posted it, it's disgraceful... but the press are loving it as it's distracted everyone from a woeful performance and result.
A more cynical person may even suggest these posts could be 'planted' on social media for just such a reason.

The problem is that that football is broadcasted on most days of the week on dozens of Channels all over the world so TV companies are crying out for ex pros to come on and give their opinion.
The problem is there are very few out there with the level of knowledge and professionalism needed so the broadcasters are basically scraping thr barrel to find someone in a saturated market in which the bar is set so low a limbo dance would struggle to get below it.
The most knowledgeable and credible ex pros are either coaching or managing themselves and usually aren't available.
If you played a handful of times or failed miserably as a manager over the last 30 years it's easy money.
There are a handful of decent pundits out there but most of them are stealing a living.
If you look at most panels of ex pros commenting in a studio these days it's like watching an episode of The Muppets.
And that’s being generous ;-)
