The only article on the game i've seen in the Mail claims tonight is a grudge match over the way we got the game cancelled while Everton were at full strength and breathing down their neighbours necks. The article is a blatant rewriting of the actual facts to suit a narrative, the whole media are feeding the nation with lies, front page to back. I don't know why I bother reading or watching any of this crap anymore.
That article is staggeringly dishonest. Everton had 4/5 of their best players missing, we would have put seven past them

I find the BBC are not only biased in football reporting. McIlroy & Tiger Woods are the Utd & Livarpool of golf in that no matter who is leading a tournament they focus on these 2.

With regards to the tennis the other day Silly Sally said " Serena is currently playing Simona Halep. Fingers crossed serena wins & goes onto claim the title". Why does Williams get her 1st name & why fingers crossed she wins. You are supposed to be impartial.

It's basically City's fanbase size against lfc AND utds fanbase combined

Positive City story = lose utd/lfc revenue
Positive utd/lfc = loads of revenue
Negative utd/lfc = lose loads
Negative City story = loads of revenue

That much is obvious but I would love to know how much more they make by pandering to just the largest fanbases

They also know that the default setting for anyone who is not all that interested or can't be bothered with football is to say they are a United or Liverpool fan.

The entire article is about how this is a 'grudge match' and how it's a 'revenge mission' for Everton. Right down at the bottom of the article it says 'Whether resentment remains, who knows?' which totally negates the rest of the article.

They must really have been struggling for an angle on tonights game.

Mcpointy said after salad scored "everythink about that goal was great" then described salads speed ,coolness, and accurate finish.

Now my take on a "great goal" may be a little different from a pundit chosen for their expert insight and unbiased professionalism, but surely a "great" goal should be a team effort or skillful solo run at least, and not a gift.

Lol, maybe it just shows how far the dippers bar has dropped re great goals.
Correct. I was amazed that he never stated that the goal came from Leipzig error and was handed on a plate. All about a worldie from Salah.

The enormous flaw in your logic, which seems to have become the Groupthink default on this forum, is that Liverpool and United hate each other too.

lfc and utd cancel each other out. Either fanbase will do, they're both massive. Negative against utd brings in lfc fans and vice versa.

Negative about City brings both utd and lfc clicks. I think that's good logic tbh

But I am looking at it from a media money making pov

Daily united online.

9 United articles.

1 City article. 'Grudge Match'. Already been mentioned.

More proof, if needed. There's no more proof needed. We all know what's going on.

Can you imagine the headlines, the amount of articles, and the hysteria at the Daiy United if United could go 10 points clear at the top of the PL, if they had to beat Everton tonight, and were in our current position.
