Just watching soccer Saturday and they were discussing Liverpool.

Sherwood - “They have hit the reset button”

Sherwood - “They are a dominant force”

This is supposed to be a knowledgeable pundit ffs!!!!

Then Steling in reply to the ‘reset’ commment, “They hit reset but then lost to Brighton and Leicester”.

Didnt they also lose to somebody else Jeff?

Edit: YCNMIU - The clown Sherwood had just said “Danny Inngs is an upgrade on Jesus” !!!!!!

Have you seen her tweet about liverpool during the show?! Scenes. Colin Murray, a liverpool fan himself, has had to get on her timeline to explain it.
It was a round on there and she said at the ends she was getting a lot of abuse for it. She did It to wind Murray up. Fair play he jumped in to tell them to get fucked.

There was an article on football focus on the LGBT community and their experiences attending football matches. They are trying to make football more inclusive for all to attend. However , they then cut to the studio and the Homes Under The Hammer guy says "football is a working class game". Not very inclusive that Dion.

Pep doesn’t use inferior players, he uses better players & expects bravery in situations that we were told was suicidal. Get rid, hoof, don’t pass across your goal, stay on your line, put em in row z........

the magic comes from knowing what to do with such ability, when was the last time a player at City was described as a luxury player ?
Definitely, when you look at other teams now trying to play out from the back, none of them do it anywhere near the level of city and usually end up hoofing the ball when pressed, only pep has revolutionised the way football is played in this country, makes me laugh when they compare him and klopp, klopps way of playing might look more exciting but it’s just playing the percentages hoof ball with better players than allerdyce etc.

A lot of media going on about the Merseyside derby and the headline again about VVDs injury. The Guardian for example, a massive picture of the Pickford challenge and the headline 'The rematch'. The Mirror has something similar.I've never seen a players injury get more hype than this. Never in my life of watching football. Surly it makes no commercial sense to continually back one team that the rest of football fucking hates!

Pep's methods are complex and require players with great football intelligence to make the most of them. An Oxbridge professor isn't a failure if they can't teach their subject to an inner city primary school class, where English isn't the first language for a lot of the pupils. Or to a class of disinterested 15 year olds in a bog standard comprehensive. They are where they are because they're the best in their field and, for that reason, they attract the best students.
Exactly, just heard the so called sky experts dissing Jesus, all saying Ings and Calvert-Lewin are better, and would do a better job for City. They completely do not understand the way we play and the complexity to be a forward for us, it would in effect be taking a player out of our team thus creating issues with our overloads

They must post in the Jesus and match day thread, plenty of people like that in those two threads.

He's always offside as well you know.

Sherwood used to be complimentary to us when I've heard him in the past, sounds like he's fallen for the Sky pound rather than truth.

Tuned in earlier for the weekly 60 million pound defenders comment from Merson.

Grade A wanker.

I always thought Sherwood was the best of all of them but totally changed my opinion of him after the Tottingham game. He was seething about everything from the pen awarded to us and what a travesty it was as clearly Gundo had fouled their defender. After that it just went from bad to worse.

This is exactly why I said I don't give a damn. Pep attracts the interest of clubs at the top of the football tree who compete in the big games for trophies, just as the best players go to clubs competing for the big prizes. Think of the utter disbelief if Rashford or Salah said "Get me a move to West Brom. I want to show I can get the goals to save them from relegation."

I think there have been one or two suggestions in the past that Pep is a tad more perceptive and intelligent than all the pundits on English TV put together. Hard to believe, I know.

Tim Sherwood? The man who’s managerial career was second only to Gary Neville’s in terms of pure comedy? I’d trust the word of the 50 year old pill poppers that you find dressed in a full suit in 5th Ave at 4am over Tim Sherwood.

There are yogurts in Tesco a tad more perceptive and intelligent than all the pundits on English TV put together.
