One bitter ****.

Downplaying an achievement that isn't remotely close to happening yet.
I wonder if his observations are shared when Usain Bolt broke world records etc over the 100m sprint as sports science has now advanced and he was wearing better footwear?
And journalists arnt as impressive either, not bought a paper for at least two years. Fake news and agenda driven bullsh#t ain’t my thing.

Piece in the MUEN just before our game tonight about Angelino slaggin Pep for ruining his confidence and not giving him a fair chance blah blah ......dear oh dear !

Beeb too. If that's all they've got it's looking like we've had a week off spending 'oil money' and sportswashing. I'm sure Angelino really left because of human rights in the middle east and it wasn't just that he didn't get picked enough.

Could have sworn he said something nice about us after fucking off the rags in the last round?

Not like the Rags at Media City to look at a slagging off story whilst we're top...

And the bThe psychological effects of that bus assault was evident when the players took the field, and it 100% affected our performance.
The clowns are complaining at the moment that they have fallen down the league because they have not had fans in the ground.
Although they don't quite say it, one of the benefits they get is the crowd causing intimidation by its noise for Liverpool and the hostility to the visitors.
As the City team had just suffered several minutes of being hit by hundreds of missiles as the police on foot and riding horses and motorcycles and having lots of CCTV and other coverage and were STILL unable/unwilling to deal with offenders, the players must have had misgivings and those psychological effects you mention that their safety inside the ground was far from certain. I dont know about the whole of the ground but it is very easy for fans in the away end to get on the pitch.

City should have refused to play the game citing player reactions to getting bricked by a fan base with A provable history of taking life.
They would have got destroyed in the media of course but it would have highlighted the issue and given the murdering rat eaters something to answer for.
I have thought a lot about this and have finally come round to your point of view. I was there on the night and witnessed the bus attack. There is no doubt the players were affected by what happened and we were three down after 30 minutes. The attack was ignored by the media but it was sustained and violent. It involved thousands of people and hundreds of missiles were thrown. It was not a small incident. It was arguably the worst direct attack on players by fans the UK has ever seen, certainly in its scale.
The Boca Juniors coach was attacked by River Plate fans before the Copa Libertadores Final and the match was abandoned by the authorities. If City had simply refused to play we would have been slaughtered by the press and the game would have been awarded to Liverpool. But a long-term precedent would have been set and the authorities would have been forced to act.

Angelino is worse defensively than Mendy...and that takes some doing. His comments are very bitter. He was poor in every game he played for City and not as good as Maffeo (what happened to him?)

Did the BBC fail to mention City's match (and the Spurs win) from the National and local news?
This morning they found time to show at least three views of Chelsea's goal but no mention of tonight's games. Botox Sal was gushing over a routine overhead kick. What will she do in the morning?
Seems from the post above that they did omit it. I might have missed it whilst concentrating on my tea.

Exactly. Like I said if that's all they've got happy days.10 years of them predicting our financial or footballing demise - maybe the fucking penny is starting to drop.

The Liverpool fans also did a bus welcome for Roma in the next match. They issued threats on social media beforehand and the Roma fans took the bait. The result was appalling violence and an innocent middle-aged Liverpool fan nearly lost his life. I am certain the attack on City's coach fuelled the trouble at the Roma game.
A journalist named Colin Mafham wrote an article about this for the Sunday Express and the feral victims were so "outraged" and started bleating so much that his editor "let him go".
The Victimpool Echo jumped on the bandwagon too and Mafhams editor apologised to their corrupt crook of a Mayor Anderson.
Mafham stood his ground when they tried to pay him off on the cheap but I don't think he's worked since.

She’ll be topping her fat face up with some Rusty hypodermic fukin plastic face woman

They did spoil it by saying 'prepare to be very very angry as if it is somehow OK to be angry at the facts of City's successes.
They can start drafting a follow up to make rags 'n' dippers very very very angry by a headline:
'Cop for this you clunts - City have done it again'
It is amazing that a gents fashion, interest magazine can come up with this conclusion, yet the best of British sports writers still think we play in the 2nd division.

On Granada Fat Lucy and Smarmy Mike were doing their level best to put pressure on us by saying surely it's our time in Europe.

They must be hurting bad. On a separate note is there any point to the MUEN? I only every picked up a copy when it was free. Always found Stuart Brennan to be a decent read but stretch some of their 'city' writers. PG Tips' finest with a bunch snide Olivetti's couldn't do as bad!

I used to watch Sly Sports News all the time desperate for any news of impending transfers. Even a minute ago when I think Matt Ritchie? was saying positive things about us the smug anchor had to bring up that we hadn't got past the quarters in the last 3 years.

Maybe we have all developed thick skins over the last 10 years but we shouldn't have to. Objective reporting on our team is impossible for the dedicated sports networks here or the online sports dept of our state funded broadcaster. It still really fucks me off but I take a deep breath and just think of the quality of our team our fans our stadium and our owner. Hopefully we'll achieve something amazing this season. Perhaps that will start to change the narrative?
