Well worth a read if you have 5 mins.

He nails it, once again.

Great article but will only be read by us blues and make no difference whatsoever. We know how it is and just have to accept it, I certainly lose no sleep over how the press portrays us, couldn’t care less. We get it and that’s all that matters.

Sarcasm used to be one of the best traits of the British, however, reality tv, social media, millennials etc have dumbed a big percentage of the nation down. A foreigner (Pep) is clearly taking the piss and these dumb fucks can't even recognise it - embarrassing.
Indeed for sarcasm to work the recipient needs to have some sort of knowledge & brain power... otherwise Pep may as well just point and laugh at the trough swillers.

And it has now mysteriously disappeared from both the news and sports home pages. It's been buried on the Welsh news page:

Not a single mention of the rag cunts in that article... haha they’re that transparent they could be a fucking window!!

Really good article. Agree with a lot of it, but to me a pretty broad brush to taint all of the media. Still some decent stuff out there, like the article on the BBC today, regarding Moyes’ comments about Pep, being the Blumenthal of football.

Still he is spot on about the likes of Delaney/Harris etc, they perfectly represent everything abhorrent about the Modern media, and this transcends football and touches on the Royal Family, people who voted remain, voted leave, party politics etc. Vilification is a lot easier to sell than a more measured view of both sides of a discussion.

The FA cup was a strange competition early on...called the Challenge Cup, winners had a bye to the final...a sort of Community Shield thing.

No doubt winning both trophies available shouldn't be scoffed at but only a few teams/games to win the league and cup dosen't really compare to modern day football.
To be fair to Preston when they won the double and therefore “everything available to them” they had to beat Bootle, Grimsby, Birmingham St George’s, West Brom and then Wolves in the final. A run of similar quality perhaps to Liverpool’s first European Cup triumph - Crusaders, Trabsonzspor, St Ettiene, FC Zurich and B Monchengladbach in the final?
