The Liverpool fan is obviously taking this season badly.

If there are City fans on Bluemoon contributing to their football pages, what more evidence do you need to stop commenting? Do not contribute to their site! It doesn't matter how clever you think you are, all you do is attract traffic to their website. The best thing City fans can do is steer clear of it so that other fans regard it as biased.

So what takes precedence here: the football stuff, or the other stuff? Obviously you know about the other stuff. Paris Saint-Germain v Manchester City in the Champions League semi-final has already more than its fair share of alternative monikers. El Gasico. El Cashico. The Sportswashing Derby. Gulf War Three. A proxy battle on hybrid grass; a clash of new money and even newer money; Qatar v Abu Dhabi; the diseased nadir of the modern game; a big night for Kyle Walker.

It is, of course, all of these things and less. The meeting of European football’s two great petrocarbon empires feels ostensibly like a moment for savage lament: to mourn football’s slow capitulation to capital and disdain for human rights, to curse the subversion of the game we all love to forces well beyond our control. Even so, this is a course of action that only really makes sense until about 7.59pm on Wednesday night, at which point all moral resistance feels queerly obsolescent. This fixture is an utter disgrace and I object to it in the strongest possible terms. Peep! Right: come on Neymar, get stuck in, son.

If you have an account on there, please do not comment on their match report afterwards! And keep it up until such time as they change. They probably never will but at least you wont be a MUG!
Well said Marvin, glad your over your Manchester parade breakdown!

I have never understood why anyone would go on a opposing fans website, weird behaviour to me and as you rightly say, why would you want to contribute financially?

Are we playing tonight?

Because i have been the reading the papers online and THE DAILY MAUL have us 28 columns down and I had to scroll down twice to find anything, us playing a semi against PSG as well! They're a disgrace of a newspaper and and the club should ban them from the stadium!

Looking forward to our friends in the media championing i us tomorrow :-)
Yes I’m sure every 5 mins they will bang on about the fact Neymar cost over 4 times more than we paid for KDB , and that Mbappe cost FIVE times more than Aguero.

Good to see the BT commentators and pundits being very positive about the English club playing in a CL semi final last night. They'll obviously be hoping for an all English final

What an absolute twat, I hope this nerdy prick blindly stumbles into a group of blues and is recognised instantly if he’s ever out and about around Eastlands.how do pricks like this land a gig preaching to the masses about football? there’s more chance of finding him in some gameworkshop flicking diecast dragons around than wearing a pair of shin pads and sliding into some fuckers ankles on a Sunday morning.
The Guardian again, but some people on here won't have a bad word said against that failing paper. They're actually the worst for attacking City

Our reputation with the wider public is already at it's lowest ebb due to the ESL, therefore we haven't got much to lose at the moment..

We should make an example of this cnut and his rag of a paper and fkin ruin them both..

Take them to the fucking cleaners for once again damaging our reputation..

Sick to death of the backstabbing twats that frequent our media..!

It’s a free world but how any City fan would want to buy the Guardian nowadays is beyond me. Even it’s writers who state they are City fans write negative things about us.

I was at a bit of loose end and looked at it in a shop to see how much - £2.20!!
Decided to buy a bacon Mbappe instead.

The only surprising thing about that article is that they haven't opened the comments section

Sky Sports News have started.

"The 2 richest clubs in the world play each other tonight and the big question is who needs to win it more?"

"If PSG knock City out will winning just the league and the league cup this season be classed as a disappointment for Pep and City?"

"Pep needs to win the champions league with City to be classed as one of the best managers ever"

Indeed, the old must win champions league regardless to be considered a successful season even though we look like doing a domestic double..

Followed quickly by “I could win the champions league if i had unlimited money like Pep” if we did

and if we do win it, "You can't be classed as a great team if you haven't won the Champion's League more than once"

The whole article is based on the ongoing false premise that City is owned by a state. If that fake narrative crumbles then the whole basis for the Guardian's relentless political attacks on our football club and its owner is shattered. Not even UEFA have alleged we are "owned by a state." For that to be true all the independent auditors, lawyers, all our major investors (who have to do due diligence), who have scrutinised our finances for 13 years, would all have to be in on a conspiracy.
And yet still the hate-filled coverage continues from sections of the English press who are convinced that Sheikh Mansour has bought football clubs across the world and created the CFG just as a "sportswashing project." Surely, after last week's ESL farce, it should be clear to even the morons at the Guardian that our owner has the same motives as most other multi billionaires....he wants to get a return on his investments.

After a night wasted watching the Madrid/Chelsea bore fest, i'd say neither of them looked remotely interested in winning their game. Curiously though, I don't remember Sky claiming Ferguson needed to win the cl with Barcelona to be classed as one of the best ever.

I am sure that is true. The Sun carried an online article this week about the "playboy lifestyle" of Sheikh Mansour with lots of detail about his luxury yachts and cars and his two wives. Of course it was designed to be a hatchet job in the run-up to the match and was no doubt a gross distortion of the truth. However in some ways it was a much more "honest" approach than the Guardian's devious politicised coverage. The Sun article was really a bit of showbiz froth (albeit with the usual racist undertones)
What was interesting though is that the Sun was actually accurate in its description of the club's ownership structure (presumably because its lawyers had checked it) and had no reference to the false "sportswashing" narrative. Sadly I took that as a sign of progress with the UK media.
