Are we playing tonight?

Because i have been the reading the papers online and THE DAILY MAUL have us 28 columns down and I had to scroll down twice to find anything, us playing a semi against PSG as well! They're a disgrace of a newspaper and and the club should ban them from the stadium!
Martin Samuel is the best sports writer in the country barring none. He always give City a fair shake and was raving about our performance on Sunday.
Regarding those pricks saying we won't have had a successful season if we don't win the champions league. Who the hell do they think their speaking for as a City fan for well over 50 years I can tell them this has been s fantastic season even if we only win the league cup. We are not spoiled entitlement junkies unlike some fans I could mention. Every trophy is precious and a great achievement, I will never take trophies for granted and never tire of seeing City lift them. If I had to choose would sooner see City win the premier league than champions league.

From no less than the Financial Times. Spot the difference in the way our club owners are alluded to, compared to others:
The radical project was spearheaded by Florentino Pérez, the billionaire Spanish industrialist and president of Real Madrid, Europe’s most successful club. He and his supporters sought the approval of an international cast of club owners including the son of a Chinese retail magnate, a Russian oligarch, an Arab royal and a trio of US sports moguls. A dozen clubs including England’s Manchester United, Spain’s FC Barcelona and Italy’s Juventus would sign on.

It’s a free world but how any City fan would want to buy the Guardian nowadays is beyond me. Even it’s writers who state they are City fans write negative things about us.
But how any City fan would buy ANY paper is beyond me !

Look on the bright side, the media cannot now root for the opposition as a triumph of football good over evil. We may be about to find out what a commentary sounds like when they want both sides to lose.
It will be a love-in for Neymar and Mbappe and every niggling foul done by PSG will not be described as a tactical one.

Watch them try. Don’t forget that PSG didn’t sign up for the ESL.

Newspaper circulation is falling but they all have web-sites.

Please City fans stop commenting on Guardian football. This is the most stupid of all responses, They want discussion. It attracts a loyal following and legitimises their 'journalism'. The best response to that Liew article is to detach all Manchester City fans from Guardian Football.

The Observer football network has a network of digital fan sites that they use for articles like pre-season predictions, end of season reports. The CIty site is 93:20 . I hope they can be persuaded not to contribute their opinions.

We are in a propaganda war.

I hope you are not contributing to Guardian football? The best thing we can do right now is to stop all City comment.

They can't have a legitimate football web-site if it does not include Manchester City and is perceived as biased.

I'd love to see this 'Measure of Success' co-efficient that they use, but I suspect, like most of their output, that it's just random collection of words plucked out of thin air.
In a way they're being complimentary because they are saying, the bigger the team, the more successful it has to be, so saying that x or y is not enough for City and they should be winning more means they regard us in very high esteem.

You can be reassured. I haven't bought a newspaper for years and never comment on any of their websites. I do think it is important to call out fake news when it rears its ugly head though. It is not a left wing or right wing political issue. I see the Guardian and the Daily Mail as two of the most dishonest news organisations in the world and they have huge audiences online. They are both fuelling an atmosphere of hate in the general population, and not just with their coverage of City.

Good. But come midnight tonight I bet you there will be a 500 plus comments from City fans on the Guardian match report.

Any City fan should delete their account. They are anti-City - politically and commercially.

I’ve just been reading the supposed shortlist for The Premier League Hall of Fame 23 man shortlist. There are 5 players on it who played for City past their peak and aren’t on the list for what they did at City.
I was shocked when looking at the list there was no Kompany, captained City to 4 PL titles, however Vidic, Adams, Campbell, Terry, Ferdinand are all on it.
Also no Silva, 10 years service, also 4 PL titles.
Finally no Sergio!!!! Scored the most iconic PL goal of all time, most hat tricks, leading foreign scorer and also FOUR PL TITLES.In ahead of him, Les Ferdinand, Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen & Van Persie who combined won 2 PL titles and have all scored less than him in the league.
Le Tissier is in the list who was a fantastic player & was loyal to Southampton but I am wondering what the criteria is?
Maybe with time they will add City players but those 3 should surely be on the shortlist now.
The criteria is based on football beginning in 1992 and ending in 2008

I see the independent have written 2 articles slagging us both off (City and PSG), Tony Evans and Miguel Delaney surprise surprise.

So I'm going to assume neither of them will be watching tonight?

This is an amazing article from Evans.

The first line of battle in any appeal to CAS is the composition of the three-judge panel. City nominated Andrew McDougal, QC, a Paris-based partner at White and Case international law firm. McDougal is the former chairman of the company’s operations council for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. White and Case have an office in Abu Dhabi and two of its biggest clients are Etisalat and Etihad. The case revolved around these City sponsors.
Under CAS rules, “arbitrators must be independent, [and have] no particular connection with any of the parties.” McDougal never acted personally for either of the sponsors and his impartiality is beyond question

I'm looking forward to seeing United's embarrassment of riches against Roma on Thursday Night.

Keep your eye on on the Daily United, United v Roma headline, tomorrow.

The £1BILLION game: PSG and Man City are football's biggest spenders and their embarrassment of riches will be on full display in Paris tonight... from £167m Kylian Mbappe to a City defence worth £191m

So the paperboy delivers the Sun to you everyday and not the Guardian?
