Decent read, which is quite surprising bearing in mind it has been written by Jackson.
Is it another of his edgy detective drama's using his unique take on the English language?

Night time cool is available for only £11.17 in paperback on Amazon for anyone interested - see this review from yet another satisfied customer for reference;

This book reads like a primary school child has written it. I don't believe that any of the high star ratings are real, most likely these reviews have been left by family members of the author.

BBC Breakfast treating us fairly for once!
We were in the national headlines at 0600 as 'City on the edge' with us with the PL trophy on one of our past wins.
Then l was caught out a bit because the first bulletin was on early as Midget Mike enthused 'what a week for City after winning the League Cup, winning in Paris and could win the PL for the third time on 4 years....'.
They didn't go OTT as they do with Redshirts, just a fair report of the situation which is all we ever want.
Come on City set us up for the Redshirts match where they don't know what outcome is worst.

When you see City playing Rondo in the middle of the game, it is often a sight to behold.

One simple example of the ball control and movement of which you speak is Foden getting Cash his second yellow card. Foden had no right to control that ball, and then turn into the player, only to slip the ball through the tightest of spaces down the line and then head that way himself, with a lightning quick change of pace. He made a mug of Cash, who wasn’t having it, so he cut him at the knees. Advantage City, all because of ball control and speed of thought.

And that happens 50 times per game around the field, albeit not always quite so obviously.

We used to stand and applaud a cross field pass from the star midfielder who put the ball into the stride of the attacker. Now, our full backs and center halves do it for fun. Hell, our goalie can do it!!!

We really are seeing football of a level that has never been seen before. There are teams that have won X, Y, and Z in the past, but they couldn’t hold a candle to speed and technique of the players today. You might have seen flashes of brilliance in the past, but the sheer volume of brilliance on display has made the extraordinary ordinary, to the point that even the media no longer even bring up the goals we have scored by passing the ball through every player for about 3 minutes to create the opening to score goals like the one that won the Manchester Derby. Or, goals where the opposition doesn’t even tough the ball for minutes on end and we make 20 or 30 passes to score.

Long may it last.
Wednesday's game had more flashes of magic "sleight of feet" than most fans see in a season. In the not-so-distant past the label "fancy dan" would be stuck on our players like phil and riaz, thanfully those days are gone , at the Etihad at least....

Did I hear that Naga woman say she was hoping for a Palace win?

I'd just turned the TV on and wasn't concentrating but the lead in certainly wasn't pro City.

From what I've seen BBC brekki is by far the worst of all visual media on us & that includes BT who can on occasion produce a pro/level program and before anyone points me the the BBC piece from yesterday....just think that 4 minute web production would be a 2 hour special on TV for the rags/dips....4 mins .....100 pts, 3/4 titles, quad winners.....4 mins!!

Right fired up for the day!!!

Yes the bloody cow said she 'aways supports the underdog ... ....and the team'. whatever that means after she had done the intro saying there might be one team more confident than the other. Then Smug Mike said that he guessed a lot of neuter hoped CP would put zCitys celebrations on ice. A curious remark to make.

But the rest was OK particularly loads of blue on the screen and Vinnie hurtling that trophy into the air.

Use dumptheguardian. You can view Guardian articles on a webarchive

By sharing links to the Guardian you inflate their visitor numbers, expose the reader to their advertising through which they make money hence you help the Guardian, and indirectly damage City.

If you want to link to any Guardian article insert dump before theguardian in the url as follows (Lahm article):

The bbc this morning at 8.30 had that dan fella who said, “man city could win the league tomorrow if they beat palace today and then liverpool beat united tomorrow. Liverpool and united being the countries most successful teams ever”.

No need for the last bit dan, no need. so back in your dressing room and apply some more spray on hair u fucker

The guy who sits next to me in the East Stand often points out that the routine examples of instant ball control and playing out of tight corners we see from City nowadays would have had everyone in the ground on their feet gasping and applauding even 15 years ago. Now such a stunning level of technical brilliance is commonplace. Rarified air indeed.

15 years ago our manager was Stuart Pearce. Scoring a goal would have had people on their feet, gasping and applauding.

Show me a newspaper that doesn’t?
They are the worst by far. All of the commercial media outlets direct their coverage towards Manchester United and Liverpool but the Guardian has a political motivation. They are politically principled, hence ex City fans like David Conn and Hattenstone are morally offended by a Thai or Arab billionaire owning Manchester City.

So what you object to is not their coverage of City, which is no better and no worse that that of the mail, the Express or the Sun, but it’s political affiliation?
