Can you imagine the uproar if we’d postponed a game recently? The press & media have waited & waited & waited, keeping their powder dry for City, a few have eventually broke ranks like Martin Samuel who had a go at Leicester while dragging Liverpool in & now the Sly sports numpties fuming their prime Sunday slot is down the pan. If they’d watched Peps presser & other interviews they’d of noticed he’s trying to suppress a cough (key indicator he’s had covid) and the fact his own mother died from it makes it an even worse cheap shot. Pep has spotted the covid narrative being used to cheapen our achievements a mile off & will continue to slap down the press should they continue, I can’t wait for him to state we won the league because of covid ;)No they were implying we we were cheats
When they show less than ten minutes of a 94 minute match, what do you expect. The programme is past its sell by date.Fuck off MOTD, those highlights made it look like an even match - BBC wankers!
I don't really know what a trope is and I try to avoid putting people into stereotypes. He is a **** full stop.
His religion had nothing to do with it
Don’t fall into tropes and stereotypes.
That said. his alter ego Colin Shindler did revel in anti-Arab tropes likes “finest silk and perfume’
Especially when you look back at the league tables after a few games and the fawning headlines around them.Hope we smash the title by 20+ points have it wrapped up by March so we can concentrate on the CL and FA cup and sit back and watch the piss boiling
I find it so strange that the UK media doesn’t talk more about the fact that there was a contrast on the pitch yesterday: the entirety of Chelsea’s starting XI was foreign whereas more than half of ours was English. Or maybe it was talked about and I missed. But it speaks to the decision-making and mentality behind the clubs
Tbf Glenn Hoddle did praise City a few times and mentioned our front 3 being English. The few times I have heard him he has been quite fair to us.I find it so strange that the UK media doesn’t talk more about the fact that there was a contrast on the pitch yesterday: the entirety of Chelsea’s starting XI was foreign whereas more than half of ours was English.
