Kev might beg to differ. They cleaned him out twice!

Well true, it's possible that Maguire was arriving for his previous tackle, or maybe the next one! It wasn't really an attempt to play the ball though, just frustration and terror.

Given the last minute clogging he took in the away match (kick from Fernandes, lunge from Ronaldo on a downed man), they seem to get away with a fair bit against him.

Tbh, I don't even know where you start to sort out United.
Infrastructure - stadium and training facilities - abysmal, need major investment.
Off-field management - Useless.
Football management - Temporary. No clear vision of where to go next.
Playing staff - average at best. Several overpaid players who should be retired.
Fans - ridiculously entitled, still with the 'We Are Manchester United!' attitude.
Their only asset is that the club somehow still generates a vast income.

Not to mention their £500m debt to US banks

I’m confused- I wonder why Delaney would bother replying to a no mark City fan like me on Twitter, yet when a famous ex sportsman like Richards or Linekar tweets him calling him a twat, he totally ignores it. Bizarre.

As we know, we are not state owned. If we were, and were being held to task about abstaining a UN Security Council resolution, it might be interesting to know that, just two days later, they voted in favour of a UN General Council vote to condemn the war and demand Russia end it. Here

Did Tariq or Miggles mention the score in their match reports or was it all just the geo-political implications of Maguire's defending?
Was that what he was supposed to be doing? Never saw any evidence of it!

He's more likely to meet one of those at a do or media occasion, he's a shithouse.

Apologies if already covered, I haven't had time to read all the thread.
Brilliant report in The Times by Henry Winter. Gives us lashings of praise and just takes the piss out of the rags. He reckons it will take them ten years to catch up and then doubts they can do that while Glazers are there. And the headline?
MIND THE GULF.....City years ahead of hapless rivals.
