It was kind of funny being respectful with "you're not very good" instead of the "you're shit and you know you are" but the "in fact" but made me laugh, it wasn't sung much but I definitely heard it on TV, as @VP81 says I'm pretty sure it was a Southern team.
Sounds like a very Fulham thing to do. Not sure if my mind’s playing tricks with me, but pretty certain that was sang in the South Stand to Fulham one game where all of their fans remained seated all game. Or maybe I’ve made that up in my own mind?

City should be straight on to the BBC, that silly daft **** Lawrenson just said City were owned by a country.
Don't forget the "money doesn't really matter to them" comment by him as well.

This is the second time in the last 2 weeks I've heard the statement 'City are owned by a country/nation state' on the BBC go completely unchallenged by the person hosting the programme - previously it was made by a caller on the Nicky Campbell phone-in after the Jack transfer. Where is the supposed BBC 'balance' and right of reply for the facts? (I know the answer.)

This time it was worse because it was made by someone employed by the BBC on their main football magazine TV show and thus has a bigger audience.

The City ownership issue doesn't bother me in the slightest.

The money doesn't matter comment is utter bullshit though and is used to push the false narrative that City's success is solely down to money.

There is some cretin who works on SSN who slags City off at every opportunity. Was giving the money jibes left, right and centre during the Kane and Ronaldo saga. Once we missed out on those players the narrative completely changed into City are a club who are methodical in the transfer market and are never held to ransom.

The reality is that when we have an unsuccessful season, the media will give us faint praise and actually push some truthful narratives. However, when we are successful, all of the nonsense comes out.
