I’ve noticed a lot of new sponsors flashing up on the boards in the ground recently and also Tariq Panja crying that a certain Premier league club was undercutting other clubs for sponsors. The club have been aggressive on that front, even taking out the front few rows of seats to put more advertising boards in.

The other thing is City have been a lot more successful than most Premier league clubs the last 5 years, therefore a lot more prize money dropping in the bank. Neville needs to realise his beloved Rags are a busted flush, why would a company want their brand associated with a person of national ridicule like Harry Maguire?

You look at Madrid and Barcelona as well in comparison, they won’t get the tv money that the premier league does which is the reason they wanted their super league. Madrid are building a new ground and Barca are in turmoil so they won’t have money in the bank.

Out accounts the previous year didn’t have the sale of Sane in them and David Silva being moved on. They would always look better this year. Gary Chuckle styling himself as some knowledgeable defender of the people, he had his arse handed to him in La Liga as a manager. He is also as knowledgeable as your average armchair rag or dipper on club finances, which is pretty scary when he owns one.

Neville should bin Carragher off as his side kick and go into partnership with Simon Jordan as the new 'go to' guys for media discussions on the intricacies of football finances. It'd be a meeting of minds albeit, very empty ones! I still live in the hope that once, if it ever is, the PL inquiry is concluded that the people at City will issue several 'warnings' that make it clear that they will no longer tolerate any further unsubstantiated speculation with regard to the legitimacy of our finances.

The reality is we went first because of broadcast revenues, primarily for reaching the CL final. Best to ignore experts like Gaz & Raj.

You'd have thought the fact that only 3 other clubs have ever topped it previously (RM, Barca and someone else) would be more concerning than the fact we've topped it in a very skewed accounting year.

Anyone got the best email address to ask city what they think about that twat neville gobshiting...I will be phrasing it better on email....
It just needs sending with a little more... umph and passion.
But I'm sure they'll get the overall jist of who you are talking about

Can anyone confirm that Neville did actually say what is claimed about our sponsorships? All I can see is other idiots quoting him online without any links to his musings.
