Interested to get your view on what you see as a realistic long term threat to our ownership from our detractors?

On the football front I think the only risk is a re-raking of old FFP coals but surely there is a limit as to how many times you can do that. geopolitical risk increases as we have the rise of more aggressive foreign policy in Western European nations and a changing world order.

The middle-east is now seen as a collection of rogue states that infringe human rights hence we have the moral obligation to act. That is the line.

That may be the line but they would have to turn the narrative into a concrete case and that is a big stretch. Besides, UAE is a big ally and Saudi a big customer so no UK government would move against them willingly.
EDIT PS. Both City and CFG are British companies and to move selectively against them would look a touch racist.

Expecting pure mudslinging articles on City as we approach next Sundays game, probably City players caught out on the lash, ffp issues again, City have shocking owners etc etc. But obviously there will be one nice article printed just to balance things out a bit, lol

Little kid in crowd in Scotland with city shirt on, on ant and dec. Is that one of yours @Magicpole :)
I live about five miles from there. There are loads of kids that wear City shirts here now.

I was waiting in a takeaway last week when two 10 year old boys came in, saw my city jacket and proudly proclaimed themselves to be fans and that they try and go to as many City games as they can as their parents are Blues as well.

Some may call them glory hunting plastics but they are the next generation and we all know that when City is your first love, you never kick her out of bed.

A new era is dawning. The world is turning blue.

Yep, I'm over in Fife and there's more & more City shirts springing up.

Shearer’s as daft as a brush. As he droned on about Burnley making it easy for City by not pressing us with sufficient intensity a lengthy clip played showing Burnley snapping at our heels and intensely pressing us. Has he started to drink ?

The yanks have just released someone from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba after 20 years. They captured/kidnapped him from Pakistan and have now sent him to Algeria. He has never been charged with any offence and so never faced a trial to prove he is guilty of anything.
Not having a go at you but people should be careful when they start going on about Human Rights Abuses.
Mind you, I suppose he should count himself lucky as most people with brownish skin that America doesn't like are summarily executed.

There always was a fair few up here even in the dark days
The Edinburgh and Aberdeen City supporters clubs and social media have made it even better
Oh and the odd trophy or 3 helps

City have always had a very heathy support up there, met loads from all over Scotland on the tram or in the pub pre/post match over the years. We also seem to have club links up there, you’ll often see groups of visiting school and junior clubs from Scotland at games, especially cup ties
