He is a dipper & maybe the targets from his employees about click bait over honesty make it too big an opportunity to tweet along. However, I’m hoping he’s been pulled in by City saying we expect more from you & an olive branch extended.
It’s been more than a decade, how many times do you think we’ve tried that approach? You got the first bit right, time was a scribblers allegiance would never get in the way of their work.

Just noticed that on some podcasts on the Athletic the grounds name has been referred to as Eastlands. Might have been just the Paddy Power ads when they are giving match odds, but it seems strange.

I guess this has been discussed many times but is a witch hunt legal as such ?

The press/media turn a blind eye to Leicesters sponsorship, to liverpool's shirt sponsor, to liverpool's small fine for attacking away teams coaches, despite their poor record of behaviour, despite failing FFP twice.
Chelsea basically ignored despite their owner being allegedly some sort of gangster. Everton have spent millions and millions and are looking likely to go down.
Utd been tapping up players for decades, let their academy kids go without food and education as Rashford tells the world. Yet not one question into how utd were allowed to run their 'world' famous academy in such away.
How their stadium is falling down, the rats and mice infestation. The away fans toilets leak into offices below. A fake bomb. Fans breaking into the swamp. All unpunished. Not a pip from the press/media in fact Sky gave Neville a platform to encourage this behaviour.

Now these clubs are the press/media arent happy that Newcastle have new owners.

Why cant the premier league, the press/media, the fa all see the biggest threat to English football are the Americans ?

The press/media use to be independent ot use to be regarded as the best in the world. Sadly it is far from that now. It is a whitch hunt against one club. Ours.

A club that has invested billions into East Manchester, help with new homes, new infrastructure, one of the worlds best football campuses. A club that is run very professional.
A club has changed the way 90% of teams from grassroots to the top now play football Peps way, even England.

Supporting my club now makes me insular, I dont watch football apart from City if on the tv turn on at ko and the sound off or very low.

I am so proud of our club I happily wear my City clothing come win or lose, my City tattoos are my pride along with my Manchester Bees.
I dont feel like I am in a fight with other fans, i couldnt give a fuck what the dippers or rags etc think.

All this crap that City have bought success. Of course City have bought success like every other fucker before us. I dont think any club as won the league with a squad of ALL academy kids and it will never happen.

City have never kicked widows out of their homes, City have never got all English clubs banned from Europe, Citys fans have never behaved like dippers. Citys managers have never blanked the after match interview for years. City have never bought homes and left them derelict to force down the prices of other homes. City have never been involved in computer hacking. If it werent for City with all the help we gave the rags over the years the rags wouldnt have been who they are today. The rags and dippers match fixing.

Yet the English press choose to ignore it all to just pick on City.

Come win or lose on Monday morning I will still being walking into work with my City coat on. I dont hide away am City, i am manc I am proud of my club and my home town.

I cant wait to be there for our last home this season, to think back ten years and remember Aguerooooooooo. Will probably have a few tears again

Alert from City ‘join us as we discuss the big game with Rory Smith of the NYT’ another Liverpool supporting media mouthpiece

Our former media officer, Paul Tyrrell, later went to work for Liverpool and was there at the time of the Hicks & Gillett ownership. He prepared a document for CEO Christian Purslow about what Tyrrell saw as their "enemies" in the media. I was passed a copy of that document.

Tyrrell was paranoid and anyone apart from his boss was an "enemy" in his eyes. Here's how he described Smith.
