On news 24, the ticker strapline said sports headlines. I thought what one sentence will they come up with to sum up the madness of yesterday? The glory of Gundogan? Masterclass by Kev? City seal title in thrilling late drama on final day!

Nope. Manchester City investigating after villa keeper assaulted. Nonce enabling, rag n dipper riddled corporation.

Heard Noel Gallagher on Talksport this morning and one of the presenters asked if the City team should be classed as one of the greatest, and he replied by saying that if Liverpool get a corner its always the greatest corner ever , so obviously this City team are great. It was good to hear a City fan who gets the chance to have a voice pull the media up.
The dickhead who pushed the Villa keeper has managed to give the media summat to beat us with, strange how we've not heard much about the dippers fans stealing everything that wasn't nailed down last week on their way to London.

What makes yesterday even sweeter is how laughably predictable these reactions are. Colour by numbers crap from the usual suspects and the classic professional embarrassment mixed in too.

I'm sure we'll have an EXCLUSIVE on the PL investigation shortly.

Tuning these berks out has made this run-in even more enjoyable.
