It was nauseating listening to Henry Winter portray their fans as holier than though. If city or Chelsea fans were involved in those events then Henry would throw the book at us and the narrative would be very different.

Not one mention of their parade being on the Hyesel anniversary either. That club are like Teflon. Just like Savile, immune to any suggestions they're in the wrong.

They went in worse on our pitch invasion last week, those supporters had actually purchased a valid ticket for the Villa game. Hilarious they now want to condemn Uefa for Liverpool supporters climbing the fences into the ground, they seemed to be quiet condemning Uefa when they used illegally hacked emails and a kangaroo court in a desperate attempt to get City banned from Europe.

Heysel, what the fcks that?
I used to work with a lad from Bolton. Proper gobby little fucker only 21 used to come in looking for me whenever we had a bad result giving it the big un. He ducked for two weeks in 2019 when we won the league! Anyway he’d actually never heard of Heysel! The media whitewashing of that day is working

If we win the league next year I hope I’m the only person there. Because that’s the only metric I consider. Was i there? The rest is conjecture; tittle-tattle, meaningless shite. I was there
How are you getting that one ticket, when I have more loyalty points than you.
Loser !!!

BBC deleted my post on the LFC chumps reaction. I had posted about the insensitivity of having a parade on the anniversary of Heysel.

Nothing rude but the BBC have whitewashed the event off their web pages so as not to offend the ferals.

They, the BBC, are a complete and utter disgrace.
Deleted mine too from a BBC News YouTube video. My post wasn't at all offensive, just pointing out the insensitive nature of their ceremony of remembrance alongside their victory parade when 39 innocent football fans had died because of their fans behaviour

Censorship is alive and well at the BBC if it doesn't fit their version of events, which essentially amounts to propaganda not news.

Henry also played down that it was "a small amount of locals" who were climbing the fences. You have to question Henry's accuracy of reporting when you see clips like this who clearly aren't in small numbers nor are they locals..

It’s clear the police were bad (and the Scousers were also bad) but I think the biggest factor is likely the prior knowledge of jibbers and fake tickets… but also the Euros in 2016. England fans were constantly fighting with the police and Russians etc. and the police probably either wanted a bit of revenge or wanted to be at least on the front foot.

Of course the wall pushers never miss an opportunity to cause problems and there you have a perfect storm.
I accept most of your points but they all miss the point of my post. It was caused by many things but anyone who thinks Macron ordered the cops to tear gas the scouse 'cos zay left our wonderful e.u.' is a right wing, wing commander 41st squadron (ret.d) nut job.

And on another note. If on Saturday night you had given me a cops uniform and a tear gas cannister, I would, after 5 minutes, be complaining it was empty.

It is not surprising that the French police were a bit heavy handed given the history of terrorism at the Stade de France. The narrative would be a bit different if someone with a red shirt got over the perimeter with a gun.

Just wait a while, there’s no way the French and UEFA are going to take all these accusations and insinuations lying down. Having the whole of the sycophantic English press behind them pushing the scouse agenda again will go against them with all these ‘poor ickle scousers being treated badly abroad again’ stories and could finally be the turning point on their constant denials about being the best this That and the other when the French police expose them for what they actually are to the whole world. It will be so hard for these media wankers to defend them when they do.
The accusations thrown at UEFA are correct, they are a shameless organisation of money grubbers who care nothing for the ordinary fan. I've tried asking on the moderated Liverpool articles the Mail published, just why were the access aisles blocked in the Liverpool end when lots of fans with tickets were still locked out. None have seen light of day in the comments.
