They take a different legal view across the pond, where any “tainted” evidence is apt to be thrown out. In the US, UEFA’s use of hacked emails would certainly not have been allowed.

On a slightly different note,my all time Scottish football quote is -

I think it was on Sports Report in the 1970s/80s but I' m not sure who said it.
(Unless it was James Alexander Gordon,as he did all the football scores on radio in those days).

I was thinking it was a latest score announcement
East Fife five so far Forfar four.

I doubt any uk court would allow so called evidence obtained in this way either. The only trial City ever faced was trial by the media.
The U.S. judge is totally correct to throw the case out as I presume ours would.
