Never knew that, my late Mum couldn’t stand Norman Wisdom but my Dad thought he was the Duck’s Nut’s, only one Telly in those days, it was like that episode of Steptoe.Yes I've heard that. It's even more bizarre than Norman Wisdom being Albania's favourite film star.

I remember it as him coming on to the halfway line on a scooter then falling over a few times, the reopening of the Kippax maybe ?He came on the pitch at Maine Road, can’t remember if it was on a scooter, was bizarre, still don’t know what that was about.
