Or TraffordI went to live in London from Manchester in the late eighties. By the mid nineties all of the rags I knew were cocknies.
They wouldn't know where Salford was if their lives depended on it.
They thought I was mad when I insisted there was only one club from Manchester and that we played at Maine Road.
I’d rather listen to Karen Carney lolListening to Danny Murphy today in commentary I don't think he even has the brains to be biased. I'd almost rather have soemone obvioulsy biased than that guy who just bores you to death with his inane comments.
Yes, that’s what any sane person should welcome into their lives. You're just jealous of my celebrity status on RAWK.
That's why I think we should make it as easy as possible to let fans watch teams play - every match, from every league (down to the conference at least) should be available to watch or stream, officially, live.I think, over time, the decline of clubs like Bury is inevitable. Their raison d'etre has gone. Back in the day, the only live footy on TV was the FA Cup Final. Most people worked until 12-00 on Saturday, so there wasn't time to go into Manchester even if you wanted to. Your live football fix was therefore your local team - Bury, Rochdale, Oldham etc. Now you can pretty much watch any match you like on TV/Computer. Young kids in particular like success so they tend to choose 'big' teams so they can bathe in reflected glory. Nothing new in that, it's just easier to watch the matches now.
The people who still watch the likes of Rochdale are the true, grass-roots football fans and don't care about being part of something 'bigger'. However, my guess is their numbers will decline over time. We get so much exposure to top-quality football these days that paying to watch Bert Scroggins boot the ball into Row Z is less attractive than it used to be.
Our Domestid Treble/Quad if you count the CS never gets a mention thoIt’s already started in the Daily United.
The Rag Sami Mokbel kicking it off.
And big words from Tent Peg already.
A domestic double? When did that start for the FA Cup and Carabao Cup, this season. Pathetic!

True. Even my United mate who I was having a drink with whilst watching the City v Sheff United match said it isn’t a proper quadruple, and wasn’t done in 1 season. I did put him right. Our Domestid Treble/Quad if you count the CS never gets a mention tho
A treble that includes beating arsenal to a title, United to an FA cup and Bayern, real and one of Milan or inter for a cl is a who's who of **** clubs.Surely winning the Treble and beating your oldest and local (in the truest sense of the word) rivals in the domestic cup final, trumps winning it against a generic, transient rival.
Ours will be better if we can pull it off.
But there’s a long way to go yet. Lots of things to go wrong. But it’s still on.
When you put it like that!A treble that includes beating arsenal to a title, United to an FA cup and Bayern, real and one of Milan or inter for a cl is a who's who of **** clubs.
Most of the the fuckers in the BBC would know fuck all about poverty.Even if it was true that there were empty seats, a public funded broadcaster shouldn't be criticising or poverty shaming those who pay their f*cking wages.
Patio and spade come to mind. When my gran died way back in 1978 (I think) I begged my mum and dad to give our paltry inheritance to city as they needed it more than us. And yes we were poor.
My mission is to convert my rag wife to the blue side but will she listen…
Thats because we didn't win it, remember Nunez the best buy of the season match??Our Domestid Treble/Quad if you count the CS never gets a mention tho
Read what he is saying. Not this seasons Cs the “quad” season I.e domestic trebleThats because we didn't win it, remember Nunez the best buy of the season match??
