I can't even hear Spitty, his squeaking is outside my auditory range thank fuck the scouse ferral rat.
I've long argued that it's a meaningless metric. No it’s not. It is the basis of ffp and what goes into our accounts. But it doesn’t measure the gross amount spent on transfers, so you could argue gross spend is a better guide to actual transfer activity.
Spitty has realised the game is up as far as the Dippers are concerned , Clubshop will not get the money needed from the Yanks , no Champions league means top players will not sign for them anyway and they are yesterday's news. Beating them to four of the last five titles has scarred the Dippers and i am going to thoroughly enjoy their demise to mediocrity , were as we will carry on business as usual challenging for the big prizes and every one we win will be a dagger through the Dipper's hearts. Wants Arsenal to win the PL title as it’s not good for the PL and English footbal that the same team wins the title constantly. Unless it’s Liverpool way back in the 70’ and 80’s. And United for 2 decades. And Arsenal and Chelsea when they were dominating PL football. During these periods of domination by 1 team, not once did I hear it was bad for English football.
Didn't someone else win it recently?Spitty On Sunday.

Good grief.... the ironing!!!!Neville said that too.
Surely the limits on losses mean that net spend is still relevant to ffp?I've long argued that it's a meaningless metric.
Net spend has nothing to do with FFP. The new version is based on player costs as a percentage of revenue.
In my 52 years of watching football and in the 130 odd years of professional football the words net and spend only came together when the teams in red were being out spent by Chelsea and then City. Not once growing up did I discuss net spend with my mates and it has little relevance to ffp in my opinion. It's entirely about maintaining the status quoSurely the limits on losses mean that net spend is still relevant to ffp?
Except that, when calculating spend as a percentageIn my 52 years of watching football and in the 130 odd years of professional football the words bet and spend only came together when the teams in red were being out spent by Chelsea and then City.
