The club will never challenge an association with UAE because that's kinda the whole point of their ownership. We are a promotional tool for the owners country. To be honest if the club was unhappy being thought of as owned by the UAE they could stop it really quickly with a half dozen legal letters from the actual owner of the football club asking that they be named as such. No broadcaster/newspaper is going to ignore that and it would get through to the presenters very quickly.
I'm not sure there's much point getting upset over something like that when the club is happy with it.
Whether that's a good or bad thing is a whole other issue. My personal view is that you change a country's attitudes by including them in mainstream society, not by isolating them.
At least our owners are not from a country where guncrime, murder and racism are commonplace. Like, say, America.
