I've also been hammering home this point to my Spuds supporting family members & it seems the tide is turning.

They're no longer interested in the "City are cheats, & that's why Spuds can't prosper" narrative from the poisoned dwarf Levy. The penny's dropped & their fans are now turning their anger toward him.

They've long since had enough & now they're sweating over even getting Europa Conference League football & facing the loss of Kane, it's made them extremely pissed with the club's leadership.

How many seasons can you keep the "We'd be winning everything, if it wasn't for that pesky Manchester City" narrative going for?
Its City's fault for every single one of the 62 years they've failed to win the top division in this country.

He’s just made it up to set a narrative that we are robotic in our manner, building to the notion that we are not a real club and that our fans are all plastic.
the media started the narrative when it dawned on them that we are a fantastic team by calling us "a well oiled machine" if thats not a dig I dont know what is

But the Premier League ARE these clubs, hence why they're so against an independent regulator.

I can see a few PL Executive Officers being VERY wary about their pursuit of City, & they probably just want to get on running the league & protecting it from the Super League, but the 20 clubs are their Masters, & the PL Executive are their employees...

There's a monkey & organ grinder scenario here, & several of the 20 PL Clubs are plinking away on the ivories like Liberace & the Executive are merely dancing along to their Masters' tune!

They make me sick! :-/
And this is precisely the reason why the Government is pushing strongly to take regulatory powers away from the Premier League and that's why City are the only club supporting that move. The Premier League has shown it is unfit for purpose with its regulatory function. Someone high up at the PL is still leaking confidential information about the discussions taking place between our lawyers and those at the PL. That story about City challenging the entire process (with the irrelevant mischief-making angle about Rosen being an Arsenal fan) didn't make its way to the Times newspaper by accident. You can be sure it didn't come from either of the legal teams (who have signed Non Disclosure Agreements) and no one at City would have leaked it to take the gloss off our Real Madrid victory. Our enemies just can help themselves can they?

Jack Gaughan has gradually grown on me as the season’s gone on, he’s growing nicely into his role as a guest on the Bluemoon podcast and today he amusingly gives Erling a rating of 10.5 / 10 for his season ratings.

We need all the friends we can get in the media and Jack is definitely friend rather than foe.

It's worth close to £700m
What our squad's worth & what it actually cost are two different things. The point I made to a mate yesterday was as follows:

Foden - Free
Palmer - Free
Lewis - Free
Ortega - Free
Gomez - £12m
Alvarez - £14m
Akanji - £15m
Total - £41m

This is the reality of the team who comfortably beat a £600m+ Chelsea team 1-0, & it's why we all knew the media would comment on the cost of our bench, & say fuck all about the combined £240m cost of the starting 11. :-/

Someone at the PL is certainly in bed with one of the "big" two red clubs in this league, why on earth would a PL employee want to tarnish (within hours of) this clubs most dominant display of football that this country has witnessed for decades. Its bitterness of the highest level, from an organisation that should be impartial to all of its members.

Funny you should say that....

Liverpool and Manchester United's rivals have reportedly been left furious after the two clubs were given 'special access' to the candidates looking to replace Richard Scudamore as the Premier League's chief executive.

The Times report that the north-west pair - who are English football's most successful and therefore most marketable clubs - met with three of the candidates before the nominations committee made any decisions.

I will just leave this here!

They failed to mention the three academy products on show tearing Chelsea a new arsehole, or the world cup winning Alavarez, Akanji and Ortega cost a pittance, half of that team yesterday cost less than that fucking donkey Antony over at the Trafford ashtray.

Think it still cost about 280m that starting team
