I don’t remember any journalists stridently reporting that if the Coolmore 99 questions weren’t satisfactorily answered (and they were, in fact, never answered at all) that Ferguson’s legacy would even be tainted, never mind ruined.
So on the one hand, we have some allegations of City as a club breaking financial rules, which essentially predate our manager’s time at the club, which relate to matters at board and shareholder level - and these fucking nonces are trying to suggest that in some way it will tarnish the results on the pitch this season, following a gap of 5-14 years from the matters alleged, of which there is not a single suggestion that Pep or the players are connected in any way to those allegations.
Yet on the other hand, not one of these spineless fucking cunts dared suggest that those 99 questions, which clearly implied Ferguson had taken backhanders (and a number of United signings around that time were highly questionable ) made by two significant shareholders in that club at the time, which still remain wholly unanswered to this day, would in any way tarnish Ferguson’s legacy, despite the much stronger nexus between him, the team he built, and the strongly implied allegations of financial impropriety.
Where were all the journalist back then giving it the Billy Big Bollocks?
Absolute fucking spineless, hypocritical nonce cunts.
