They only want a quick resolution as long as the verdict goes one way. Would they all celebrate if the PL turned around tomorrow and said all charges were dropped, as City shown the required evidence? Or what about the charges were dropped because a long, drawn out process isn’t good for the image of the PL? Would they balls. There’s only two outcomes they will be happy with…

1. Over quickly and City guilty.
2. Takes years and City guilty.

Any other verdict and the narrative is City are guilty but have done X to get off. We know this because we have played this game already.

How long did the PL investigation take? Cracks me up that the narrative is that it’s City who are slowing down the process. The PL can hang this over us for years and then we are supposed to just roll over and have our bellies tickled.

How stupid must Delooney be? How long does he think it takes to manage a case involving more than 100 charges including allegations going back 14 years which essentially label our owner and our Directors as fraudsters. Has the PL actually supplied any evidence yet of its allegations or will it end like the UEFA debacle where all they could provide were photocopies of out of context and fabricated emails. The so-called UEFA evidence was laughed out of court and even our fine for non-co-operation was drastically reduced.

This is spot on. The amount of lies doing the rounds in the media now is insane. I saw a picture before of outside the Etihad, no idea when it was, but the caption wrote ‘I hope no one gets hurt’. But there was no one there, as it was clearly taken well before or well after the game. There was 55000 people in that area of Manchester, so why on earth would someone be so fucking sad, as to turn up and take a picture at a point they knew it would be empty. It’s absolutely completely pointless and incredibly childish. But to make matters worst, why would you be so incredibly naive and stupid to believe it.

I had a Utd fans say to me very recently ‘you can’t fill your stadium’, ‘there’s always tickets available on wowcher’, ‘We don’t have that universal appeal like Utd’. They genuinely 100% believe that’s the truth. When I told him the facts and broke it down for him. He couldn’t take it and basically implied I was making it up. So when I showed him several pictures, he shook his head and laughed, and said ‘they must all be day trippers’. So what is it? Do we have no fans or are we glory hunters?

You cannot argue with people who are so upset, that they’ve either become completely deluded or just flat out refuse to believe the truth. It’s genuinely stupid. We used to say non footballing things to Utd fans when they dominated. ‘Lots of your fans are from London and Ireland etc’, ‘your ground is technically not in Manchester proper, so therefore you should change your name’. But those things are actually correct. I don’t recall ever going on about it with the frequency these muppets do though. And we have no out and out blatant lies like them either. Maybe we should make some up but then again, we’ll just do the talking on the pitch.

I will piss myself laughing, when the day comes when Pep departs (and sadly he will ) and a team like Newcastle - a financially restricted club who have to deal from the onset of their takeover with FFP, take the piss out of United and Liverpool et al and finish above them on footballing merit on the pitch, what those red tops hate is that we do it on the pitch through superior management with THE best manager in world football , Newcastle are above both United and Liverpool on merit , spending far less , do they get ridiculed ? Who will they blame next for their managerial inadequacies ? Have a look further down the table at Chelsea to see proof that money is only part of the answer, and that’s not even mentioning the probable takeover by United of the Qatari consortium.
